this is just a declaration, to let javascript know that this function

MyClass.prototype.init = function (){
this.imagesHolder = jQuery("#imgs");
}
jQuery("#imgs") is not executed until you do something like this.
var a = new myclass()
a.init(); // put this inside dom ready
