Note that you are here sermonizing back at your dogmatizing back at your
pontificating. IOW ... talking to yourself. The views of your flat
earth society are not topical in comp.lang.c++.

You have apparently lost ability to program yourself out of a paper bag.
Otherwise you would try evolutionary algorithms out yourself and see
that evolution takes time and resources but really works and reaches
complex solutions.

I do not believe in a flat Earth. That group is led by wicked evil spirits
to deceive people. We can see our place in the signs of the Heavens
given us by God for that purpose. Lunar libration alone disproves
a flat Earth:

I'm talking about observable science, math, physics, all affirming
the Bible, but also that the Bible is a cut above our natural observation,
in that it also explains spiritual things which then yield additional
information beyond what our natural eyes can see directly.

DNA replication. Molecular machines making copies of the original
strand of DNA. Packaging mechanisms to keep the strand untangled,
and to allow ordered access.

Tiny machines, thousands of them, in every cell making your complex
life possible ... and that doesn't include the second and third layers
of design, such as physical arrangement of organs, their specialized
purposes, and the invisible qualities like thought, and the programming
of emotions, conjecture, laughter, sadness, and so on:

How so? I have read the Bible. The cosmology in Bible is not so comical as
in books of Terry Pratchett, but close. Earth is firm and immovable, heavens
are based on literal vault or dome, stars are little lights that may fall
down, earth has center and farthest bounds. Thanks to search engines
anyone who cares can verify it. I did and found pile of quotes for ignorant
you:

1 Chronicles 16:30: He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.

Psalm 93:1: Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...

Psalm 96:10: He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...

Psalm 104:5: Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.

Isaiah 45:18: ... who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast ...

Job 9:8, ... who by himself spread out the heavens ..."

Psalm 19:1, The heavens tell out the glory of God, the vault of heaven reveals his handiwork.

Psalm 102:25, ... the heavens were thy handiwork.

Isaiah 45:12, I, with my own hands, stretched out the heavens and caused all their host to shine ...

Isaiah 48:13, ... with my right hand I formed the expanse of the sky ...

Daniel 4:10-11. ... saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth ... reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds ...

etc. etc.

Nowhere in Bible there are anything about actual stars, planets or galaxies.
Were all those places of Bible written or translated by evil spirits?
You haven't perhaps read it? It is *not* science book.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater
light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule
the night: he made the stars also.

The focus of the Bible is on His Son and our relationship to Him.
God has created many wonders, but none of them rate in significance
near us. We were the reason He created everything. It's all here to
support us, both now, and in eternity. Even the angels are here to
serve us:

http://biblehub.com/kjv/hebrews/1.htm

13 But to which of the angels said he at any
time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine
enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth
to minister for them who shall be heirs of
salvation?

We are important to Him. It's why He came to save us.

Rick C. Hodgin

God created light, day and night then Sun and stars ;)

Exactly, all in Genesis is in the very same way how in the other quotes
I gave that you snipped. Nowhere in Bible are described *actual* stars,
planets or galaxies.

Sun and Moon and stars are just "lights" in Heaven by Bible. Heaven
is a vault or dome, "a firmament" above waters that was made on second
day. These lights are smaller "details" to its authors so were put
to Heaven at fourth day of creation.

I reiterate:

God has created many wonders, but none of them rate in significance
[anywhere] near us. We were the reason He created everything. It's
all here to support us, both now, and in eternity."

The Bible records all we see will wax old and wear out like a
garment, and they will be changed. But He will never change, nor
will we in eternity.

Satan tries to keep us from this.

Hodgin is too far gone in his brainwashed delusion: it is pointless
trying to reason with him. He believes Genesis is literally true
despite evidence to the contrary which he explains away as a deception
of Satan.

The texts are right about one thing, that the early Isralies tended to the old gods, the old practices, to the chagrin of the prophets. But while the biblical polemic presents this as an outside influence, scholars recognize that these were actually the old practices in Israel, shared with its neighbors.

But it's in the nature of people to believe: some believe in the Messiah, some believe in Donald Trump, some believe that they're the same, and some believe that C++ follows the zero overhead principle ("alas, poor streams ...")

IIRC, there is a place in the Bible where God says that there are more
stars than grains of sand on the Earth.

Overloading operator without at least a single param of enum of class type is forbidden, but where in the standard says so?

Put in to other words, defining `int operator(char, int)' violates what rule in the standard?

I need someone to refer to me the exact paragraph in the standard.

Thanks.

C++11 §13.5/6 (over.oper/6): "An operator function shall either be a
non-static member function or be a non-member function and have at least
one parameter whose type is a class, a reference to a class, an
enumeration, or a reference to an enumeration"

You'll get more familiar with it over time.

But it is one heck of an inaccessible document. ;-)

Cheers & hth.,
