Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear
indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of
extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by
some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied
views.[1][2][3]

The original statement of the adage, by Nathan Poe, was:[1]

Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is
utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone
won't mistake for the genuine article.

Such things are considered, Leigh, but it's not possible to know
for sure because there is no indication. And the "parody" you are
indicating is actually a blasphemous bit of writing, which is not
something that a Christian would consider joking around about as
we place a high emphasis on God because of who He is.

The thing you misunderstand about Christians, Leigh, is that we do
move differently than you do, but it's not because there's something
wrong with us, but it's because we have been changed from within by
what Jesus did at the cross and when we ask Him to forgive our sins.

The spirit nature is real, and it asserts itself, which gives us a
different perspective on everything. It's different for us from our
"old man" before we believed, and it's different than the general
world's view on things.

Until you experience it, it would be like trying to explain sight
to a blind man. He'd never really understand until he could see.
With you, you'll never really understand until you are saved and
then it will just be second nature and you'll be like, "Ah yes" as
it all makes sense to you.

Most of the science that is taught in schools today is pure fabrication.
I would like to set the record straight.

Evolution isn't true because if it was then why are there still monkeys?

Fossils aren't what they seem as they are creations of Satan made to
lead as astray and to doubt our faith. Some fossils are simply the dead
bones of dinosaurs that lived during biblical times a few thousand years
ago.

The Grand Canyon wasn't weathered over millions of years but was
weathered over a few days due to the large amount of water of the Great
Flood.

Oh and I forget to mention the biggest problem with evolution: The
Missing Link. The theory (and it is only a theory) falls apart due to
The Missing Link which hasn't been found after a hundred years of
atheists digging up so called fossils (dead bones).

Not sure if he is still alive but try this new way of writing "Hello World!"

using System;

public class Program
{
public static void Main()
{
Action hello = () => Console.WriteLine ("Hello World!");
hello();

Console.ReadKey();
}
}

This program is portable and cross-platform as long as you have
installed Microsoft.Net framework!!

I hope you guys can use your newsreader's filter function because I am
receiving more spam from people like you than from religious nutters.
The C newsgroup is now destroyed completely beyond repair unless someone
can initiate mass killings of them.

It is inappropriate to wish harm on anyone, Juha. When you wish harm
on anybody, you are really only harming yourself.

Jesus will forgive your sin as well, Juha. He will give you eternal
life and a future that is secure. All you have to do is ask Him to
forgive you.

Are you a sinner? Then you need a Savior. Jesus is that Savior. Ask
Him to forgive your sin and gain security and eternal life today.

In order to bring about the eschaton Adam and Eve had incestuous sex
with their offspring. Incest wasn't considered a problem in Biblical
Times due to a general lack of human population (a consequence of Adam
being the first human) and the fact that the Democratic Party wasn't yet
established.

To address the issue: God created Adam first. He saw that it was not
good for the man to be alone so He put Adam to sleep and created Eve
out of his side. All of the genetic code used for our bodies had no
flaw at this point, no deviation from being perfect and true to God's
creation and design.

Marriage between people was not prohibited between people until the
time of Moses, because it was only then that mistakes began to enter
in that would cause deformities and life-threatening diseases. As
such, God instituted the barrier of not marrying close relatives to
prevent those diseases.

Is anyone doing anything with modules?

I watched two talks from Cppcon about modules:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=cppcon+2017+boris&t=ffsb&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=E8EbDcLQAoc

and another one that had to do with the gcc implementation
of modules.

I think I may create a separate github repo for the modules
version of my code. At first the non-modules repo would be
the dominant repo. Is that how others are approaching it?

I don't think gcc has an implementation of modules as yet. clang has
support for an earlier draft of modules, while the current guinea pig
here is MSVC. As the drafts get more solidified, and the implementation
in MSVC gets tested more in practice, there will come a point where the
other big C++ compilers implement them. The same thing happens with all
the new features for C++ - gcc is prototyping concepts, clang is
prototyping metaclasses, MSVC is prototyping modules. In the end all
three will support C++20.

If you are not basing your development firmly on MSVC, then don't use
modules at the moment.

Perhaps, if he posed an actual, more specific question.
"Rick C. Hodgin" <rick.c.hodgin@gmail.com>: Nov 20 07:22PM -0800

My son and I say prayers together each night before he goes to bed.
Part of our daily prayers is the Lord's Prayer. This is the way we
say it each night:

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
==> AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
for Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever.
Amen.

-----
It is already in a Christian's heart to forgive those who rise up
against them, and especially so when they rise up against a person
because they are teaching about Jesus Christ.

In our sinful state we are expected to hate the message of God,
because He testifies against our sin. But the message of God is
not given for those who won't be saved, but only for those who
will be saved.

This removes a huge burden from the Christian's walk. We're not
responsible for converting people, but only for our obedience to
God in teaching the message accurately. And we have been taught
in scripture, and by life examples we've all encountered, that
non-believers will rise up and attack and harm and attempt to
discredit, and wreak havoc, and more, anyone who tries to bring
people the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Nonetheless, the message goes forth because it is the Lord's
guidance for us to teach. It is up to Him to bring forth the
increase, and to change people from within. We are simply obedient
to His call for us to go forth and teach, and to obey and live His
guidance personally, as best we're able.

If you can hear His call within your heart, listen to Him. He is
reaching out to save your soul from death, and to give you eternal
life. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your days of sorrow
are ended.
