[jQuery] jScrollHorizontalPane unpredictable browser issues

Hi,

I've been trying to get jScrollHorizontalPane (a scrollbar replacement
plugin: http://plugins.jquery.com/project/jscrollhorizontalpane) to
work cross-browser for the last few days but my efforts have yielded
unpredictable results. I have managed to get custom scrollbars working
in MSIE 6 & 7, Safari, Chrome and Opera. Firefox is the main browser
left to conquer but I just can't get them to work!

The plug-in inserts code into the page correctly (it wraps the element
to be scrolled in an div class="jScrollPaneContainer"), but the custom
bars and functionality (ie. scrollwheel navigation) are not there.

I'm not sure what the problem is, since it works in some browsers but
not others...
