In IE7 and Mozilla, the autocomplete works fine.

When I use IE6, the item below the autocomplete text box, displays in
front of the autocomplete list. With the auotocomplete list showing
behind the the text item.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe all you need to do is load the bgiFrame() plug-in (which will place an iframe behind the layer--preventing IE6 from bleeding through elements.)
