Anyway, I'm pretty sure that remove is not what you want. I think you'd need to do something like:
$('h3').each(function(){
var t = $(this).text();
$(this).text(t.replace(/…/''/));
});
Obviously, replace h3 with whatever makes the most sense for your page.
