$('#preview_'+id_mercancia).tooltip({
tip: '#img_'+id_mercancia,
effect: 'fade',
});

The error is the last comma.

Correct:
$('#preview_'+id_mercancia).tooltip({
tip: '#img_'+id_mercancia,
effect: 'fade',
});

This error doesn't affect IE and Safari because they are well done! =)
