Ramine <toto@toto.net>: Dec 20 11:09AM -0800 Hello.... Here is the state of the art memory managers... I have just enhanced my interfaces to the following state of the art memory managers, now they support Delphi, Delphi XE versions and FreePascal: jemalloc interfaces for Delphi and Delphi XE versions and FreePascal with the windows 32 bit and 64 bit Dynamic Link Libraries, it is a scalable memory manager that emphasizes fragmentation avoidance. Please read this, you will notice that it reduces efficiently fragmentation: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/omnibus-gitlab/issues/1556 And how to install it ? Just place cmem as the very first unit under the "uses" clause of your project's .dpr file. You can download it from here: https://sites.google.com/site/aminer68/jemalloc-interfaces-for-delphi-and-delphi-xe-versions-and-freepascal And Intel TBBMalloc interfaces for Delphi and Delphi XE versions and FreePascal with the windows 32 bit and 64 bit Dynamic Link Libraries, it is a scalable memory manager, And how to install it ? Just place cmem as the very first unit under the "uses" clause of your project's .dpr file. Ramine <toto@toto.net>: Dec 20 06:29AM -0800 Hello, jemalloc Delphi and Delphi XE interfaces Description: jemalloc Delphi and Delphi XE versions Interfaces with the windows 32 bit and 64 bit Dynamic Link Libraries, it is a scalable memory manager that emphasizes fragmentation avoidance. Please read this, you will notice that it reduces efficiently fragmentation: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/omnibus-gitlab/issues/1556 And how to install it ? Just place cmem as the very first unit under the "uses" clause of your project's .dpr file. jemalloc is a general purpose malloc(3) implementation that emphasizes fragmentation avoidance and scalable concurrency support. jemalloc first came into use as the FreeBSD libc allocator in 2005, and since then it has found its way into numerous applications that rely on its predictable behavior. In 2010 jemalloc development efforts broadened to include developer support features such as heap profiling, Valgrind integration, and extensive monitoring/tuning hooks. Modern jemalloc releases continue to be integrated back into FreeBSD, and therefore versatility remains critical. Ongoing development efforts trend toward making jemalloc among the best allocators for a broad range of demanding applications, and eliminating/mitigating weaknesses that have practical repercussions for real world applications. You can download it from here: https://sites.google.com/site/aminer68/jemalloc-delphi-and-delphi-xe-interfaces URL for jemalloc source code: http://www.canonware.com/jemalloc/ Thank you, Amine Moulay Ramdane. |
