God doesn't grade on a curve. The standard to enter into Heaven
is literal perfection.

None of us are or can be perfect in and of ourselves. We require
a savior, someone to take our imperfections (our sin) away from
us, thereby purging us of all inquity in God's sight.

That's what Jesus did at the cross. Innocent before God, guilty
by men, able to have all of our sin transferred to Him so He
would die with it, and we would be released from it.

Without Jesus, everybody is literally going to Hell because of
their sin. Literally billions of people alive today will enter
into Hell thinking all the while they were okay, or they weren't
as bad as so-and-so they know, so they must be in good standing
with God.

It's going to be a shocker for so many. The Bible records that
on the day of judgment there will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth. People will be so angry at themselves for not seeking
out the truth they knew in their heart. They're going to realize
they've forfeited their entire future for some temporary sin here
on Earth that, in a short period of time after death, will seem
so insignificant compared to the weight of eternity.

any hope of a change to mean

-------------

given strings : stringOne, stringTwo are equal

that strcmp( stringOne, stringTwo ) will return true with a value of 1 or
bool = true
--------------

given strings: stringOne, stringTwo are not equal

that strcmp( stringOne, stringTwo ) will return false with a value of 0 or
bool = false

and maybe a new function strcmpOrder( string string1, string string2 )
where if string1 comes before string2 returns a 1

if not return 0;

sorry, just as i'm reading chapter 4, and was into'ed to strcmp
i was just thinking...

lol

there is probably something better to come 14 more chapters to go.

I doubt it. You might have to make your own functions, eg:

int streq(char* s, char* t) { return strcmp(s,t)==0;}
int strlt(char* s, char* t) { return strcmp(s,t)<0;}

No, not a chance in the world. Even if enough people thought it would be
a good idea (and I can't imagine why they'd think that), there's too
much existing code that relies on the existing definition of strcmp() to
determine the relative order of stringOne and stringTwo, which would be
broken by such a change.

Why would you want such a change, anyway? if(strcmp(stringOne,
stringTwo)) will do the same thing with either the current definition or
your proposed change. The same is also true if strcmp(stringOne,
stringTwo) is used in a while(), do-while() or for() condition, or as
the first operand of ?:, or either operand of && or ||, or as the only
operand of !. Just about any reasonable use of strcmp() with your
proposed change would have the same behavior using strcmp() as
currently defined.

Currently, strcmp(stringOne, stringTwo) returns 0 when the strings are
equal. The OP is proposing a change so that this would be 1.

From your perspective it could only be 1) or 2) or 3). But there
are other perspectives which stem from a pursuit of the truth and
the faith found in Jesus Christ.

Of those choices, Troll is the best. :-)

The truth is I am a born again (John 3) Christian. My life was
changed the day I came to Jesus and asked forgiveness for my sin.
I've never been the same since that day, and it is an internal
change that spills out into all areas of my life. It is due to
the new spirit nature He gives us when we repent and ask forgive-
ness. You can't see the new change, but only the effects of it
by the changed life with new goals, purposes, actions, choices,
etc.

I am literally a born again Christian, Kenny. I care about people.
I want all people to be saved. I do not want anyone to be judged
for their sin. I want everyone to know the love of Christ and the
incredible peace for your soul that comes with salvation and even
with service to Him in the midst of turmoil / trials.

Jesus is worth devoting your entire life to, Kenny. He's worth
losing every "friend" over, every family member over. He's the
true supreme top of our existence.

I would not have believed any of these things I am telling you now
had the change not happened to me. It really is completely life-
altering.

It has spiritual power and authority, but so far as the physical
perspective it will just look like someone blathering to himself
for an hour, wasting time that could be more valuably applies in
writing some code, or learning a new trade.

But if you could see with spiritual eyes, you would see lights
like those spotlights that shine up at major events, shining out
into Heaven, angels rejoicing, the spirit of God being moved and
stirred by our faith applied.

I accept scientific evidence. I just interpret it differently
than you do. And if you sat down and considered the Biblical
perspective on everything we see in all of science, you would
see that it is not without full natural reason as well. Every-
thing a well-educated, well-informed Christian would tell you
about the source of the scientific explanations for those things
we can reproduce in a lab, or observe and theorize in the wild,
are all perfectly sound in reason, application, ability to be
believed, etc. And that's exactly because it is the truth.

Here's someone singing songs about how I feel in my heart:

Lauren Daigle -- Look Up Child
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQZNcZcfo8E&list=PL0onz3t0RVfoOpzzylZ3oCTcV_eeD-FdF

Lauren Daigle -- How Can It Be?
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lLz1r567IHpYKoHU8q5Rmvebopn3QswGc

Both albums are just soul wrenching. She speaks such truth in
her lyrics. My favorite songs (in my opinion, the album versions
are better):

You Say
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIaT8Jl2zpI&list=PL0onz3t0RVfoOpzzylZ3oCTcV_eeD-FdF&index=5

Look Up Child
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NAYz0zh_Es&list=PL0onz3t0RVfoOpzzylZ3oCTcV_eeD-FdF&index=8

Losing My Religion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw6_g0aTwt4&list=PL0onz3t0RVfoOpzzylZ3oCTcV_eeD-FdF&index=9

That reference there o "losing my religion" is about how true
Christianity is not a religion. It's not by rote. It's not
by ritual. It's that inner change and the changed life that
comes from real salvation. It's a new re-wiring from the in-
side out, one that changes everything.

I suprise you! I wont wait to the friday!

Believe or not, but I pray today twice:
First: around 7:05 on the tran station platform
Second: around 18:00 in my house.

In both cases I turn my face to the sun - because I don't know from what
direction God look at me - so I think He is like bithtest light to our
mind - so I pray to the sun.

If you wonder what I am pray for I can tell you:
+ for briliant mind,
+ clevernes,
+ wisdom,
+ knownledge,
+ perfect memory (I was hipnotized in the 4,5 yrears age by crap polish
sickret service in order to have many difficulties in life - and one of
them was: weak memory) - so I have many memory leaks every day.
+ eficiency and correctnes in my job (I have new job and I am unsure how
long I will work - I wish work as long as I can),
+ lack Ufo mind limiters - they disturb my mind right now - so I am not
as efficient as I could. Greys/Ufo perform telephatic mid disturbance,
pathological behaviour reminding (like masturbation) and they perform
hipnotics effects like memory leaks.
+ health
+ money
+ friends (btw. Can you be my internet friend?)
+ clevernes (again)

@Rick C. Hodgin:
Can you tell us for what (beside people) are you praying?

more thinking and less stupidity
best regards
