one thing that was missing in your code was to erase the "li" from the
parentheses.
For the guys who may face the same problem as I did, this is the path
that worked (for the HTML I placed in my first post):
$("a.confirmar").click(function(){
$
(this).parents().find("a.apImg").addClass("apImgOn").removeClass("apImg");
});
