Is there any reason you can think of why anybody would be interested in spending time looking at your project? (This is a serious question - or at least a serious attempt at provoking useful thought for you.) Code reviews are generally tedious and boring - a lot of effort with little direct reward to the reviewer. They can lead to interesting discussion sometimes, and swapping of ideas and techniques, but mostly they are very much to the benefit of the code and the person who wrote it, not for the reviewer. So why would anyone here want to do such work for you, as unpaid work to benefit your commercial project that no one here has shown any interest in using? On the occasions when you think a particular bit of code or technique might be interesting to others or provoke a discussion, you tend to post that part (and that's a good idea, IMHO). So what is left to persuade people to do the job of your company for free? |

His accomplishments exceed yours in terms of raw technical ability. I (Rick C. Hodgin) have worked on a wide array of projects and interests, outlining them all. My biggest issue is my vision is vast. I map out very large and complex projects that I can envision and see all of the parts for, but I am able to do them in terms of labor hours due to life things. If I had money to hire people to accomplish my goals, or even to work on them instead of a day job, I would've put Microsoft, Apple and several others out of business by now. :-) -- Rick C. Hodgin |

My Visual FreePro (VFP clone) project is public on GitHub, as is my Earth Solar System simulation. I've got Jesus, and I've got the wares to back up my claims. :-) BTW, because I have Jesus, people avoid me like the plague. I've gone to the GIMP forums, LibreOffice, offering to contribute, telling them I have C/C++ skills. They're all excited at first, and then they look me up on GitHub or social media, and they see my Christian foundation, and they've literally stopped talking to me, stopped responding to my posts, stopped helping me with development assistance. It's hard in this world for a Christian, Leigh. It's a constant uphill battle against people who tell you to see a doctor and take medication, or want to kill me as Peter Cheung said, and Mitch Alsup have said. I've been banned from nearly every forum I've participated in because at some point something related to Christianity comes up, and people have no tolerance for it whatsoever. Someday you'll see why we (Christians) did it. And someday, if you don't come to faith in this world, you'll wish with the greatest wishing you've ever wished for anything in your existence, that you too would've gone that way rather than the way you've gone. ----- I say things like "Consider these things, Leigh," but you say no. I say you are valuable and precious and God loves you, and you say God doesn't exist. I say I want us to be friends and work together on projects because we are stronger together than apart, and you call me names and mock me and tell me to go away. It removes women form their exalted place of homemaker, mother, caregiver, the emotional foundation of the home, and places her out there among the wolves on a daily basis. This is the worldly-based God-hating idea of feminism wrapped into the murder of the most precious thing God's ever given us: new life born through us, and for us, and for Him. It's a problem with SINFUL MAN. PEOPLE who do not follow the prescripts of God correctly, but instead listen to that same anti-Christ spirit you're listening to, but in you it applies toward homosexuality and rebellion and profanity and whatever else, but with them it takes hold of their interest (a relationship with Jesus Christ) and perverts it to be something unpalatable, undesirable by people, something DESIGNED BY THAT EVIL SPIRIT to PUT PEOPLE OFF to Christianity. And that enemy is very good at what he does, which is why it takes a very strong Christian to be able to rise up in this world and overcome that enemy properly. I was taken down by that spirit in the late 2000s after having been saved in 2004. I was a sincerely devout Christian through May of 2007, when my family began an unprecedented attack. It hammered us daily through the end of 2007 into 2008, and I was not strong enough to prevent the downfall. I got involved in something that I thought at the time was a good idea, but quickly realized it wasn't. The damage was done to my family and we're still suffering from the side-effects and ramifications of that decision now 12+ years later. The Bible records that the enemy spirit we face is of a particular type of genius that we can't approach him. His mind sees things on the scale of 10s of thousands of simultaneous thoughts, whereas we can only think our own thoughts consecutively. It's why we need God to fight our battles for us, because NONE OF US are able to fight against that enemy alone. Mitch Alsup on the comp.arch channel was abused in church as a young boy, and he's not in his latter years and has a hatred against Christianity because of what that evil spirit did to him in his youth. He cannot separate out the evil spirit attack from the true nature of Jesus Christ, which is completely separate, entirely love, and is the very thing which could heal all the hurt. The enemy spirit dwelling within you, Leigh, is making you think all these things falsely. If you want to be set free from that falseness, ask Jesus to show you the truth, to come to you in a way YOU can understand and believe.
