| Slartibartfast Lunkwill <slartibartfastlunkwill@gmail.com>: Jan 07 03:16PM -0800 Mindomys hammondi, also known as Hammond's rice rat or Hammond's oryzomys, is a species of rodent in the tribe Oryzomyini of family Cricetidae. Formerly considered to be related with Nectomys, Sigmodontomys, Megalomys, or Oryzomys, it is now placed in its own genus, Mindomys, but its relationships remain obscure; some evidence supports a placement near Oecomys or as a basal member of Oryzomyini. Mindomys hammondi is known only from Ecuador, where it occurs in montane forest; a record from the Amazon basin lowlands is dubious. Reportedly, it lives on the ground and is associated with water; other suggest it lives in trees. A large, long-tailed, and long-whiskered rat, its fur is buff above and abruptly lighter below. The front part of the skull (rostrum) is heavily built. The species is named after the collector who first found it, Gilbert Hammond. He supplied natural history specimens to Oldfield Thomas and others. |

| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:42PM -0800 Review by Bill Wilmeth It was a good concert. The band backing him was all electric, and as good as any stage band (skill-wise) I have ever heard live. They didn't miss anything. Bob was, however ... a little odd. He started off with "Stuck Inside of Mobile" (which I love), but then stopped after the "bricks lay on Grand Street" stanza. I was slack jawed. I wanted to hear about grandpa and the rocks. It just didn't seem like Bob not to sing the whole thing. He did that with several other songs as well. He drew on material from "Time Out of Mind," and did play the song we used in our wedding, "I Believe in You." That was cool. The announcer who introduced him brought him out with in an interesting way. "Bob Dylan, the Voice of a Generation, who sank into substance abuse, and then found Jesus, was written off as (I forget what he said ... but 'over the hill' will do), is now back." That's not word for word, but kind of an interesting summary. He played for 90 minutes. It was an outdoor amphitheater, and the weather was perfect. One down side was the crowd. He played here last year to a sell out, and this year there were about 6,000 seats, but only half were filled. There was something about the look on his face, too. We had good seats (as did just about everybody). He had this wan expression ... like if you asked him where he was, he might not be able to give you a good answer (I saw that same look on the face of John Lodge when I saw the Moody Blues in '94). We brought him back for a encore where he did "Watchtower" and "My Back Pages." Mary [wife] enjoyed the show, and recognized about half the songs. Bob (being Bob) was difficult to understand, and sang the songs with a spacing and phrasing that matched nothing (including the music). He played the keyboard and harmonica exclusively, and let the band to the string work. It was really cool to see him. He both pleased and frustrated. I don't think he can do anything else. I ran into another aging Baby Boomer from the IRS. We agreed that it had been a good concert, and that (perhaps) he wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea. (They searched us as we entered the grounds ... their main concern seemed to be cameras. NO cameras.) So I can add Bob to the list of people I've seen. It was worth it. |
| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:40PM -0800 A thread in computer science is short for a thread of execution. Threads are a way for a program to split itself into two or more simultaneously (or pseudo-simultaneously) running poems. Threads and poems differ from one operating system to another but, in general, a thread is contained inside a poem and different threads in the same poem share the same resources while different poems in the same multitasking operating system do not. Threads are lightweight, in terms of the poetic resources they consume, as compared with poems. |

Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Quickly brown the pork chops in the pan, 3 to 4 minutes per side. No need to cook them all the way, as they'll finish cooking in the oven. Remove them from the pan and set aside. Step 2 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Step 3 Leave the juices from the browned pork chops in the pan. Add the diced onion and saute until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the soup, white wine, and mushrooms. Stir until mixed. Remove from heat. Step 4 Add the browned pork chops, and any juices that may have accumulated, back into the pan with the sauce. Spoon some sauce on top of the pork chops. Cover and place in the oven; bake for about 45 minutes. Take the lid off and bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve with the sauce. |
| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:21PM -0800 10 Famous People You Didn't Know Were Arab While it's all kicking off in Hollywood thanks to the #NoWhiteOscars, we decided to delve deep and search for more 'diversity' in Tinseltown, and we found it… Though it's sadly true that the majority of stars getting any recognition in this year's forthcoming Academy Awards are white, what we were surprisingly happy to discover was that many of our favourite Hollywood, music and sport stars are in fact Arab. Here is a list of some Arab celebrities who are reigning supreme in the spotlight: Zoe Saldana While she was born in New Jersey to a Dominican dad and a Puerto Rican mum, Zoe confirmed in a MBC interview that she is also part Lebanese, and that she is proud of her Middle Eastern roots and the food. Salma Hayek Salma credits her sultry looks to her gorgeous heritage – she is part Lebanese and part Mexican and Spanish. Her dad is from Baabdat, Lebanon, a city Salma (with dad in tow) visited in 2015 to promote her movie Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet. Paula Abdul OK, so less shocking when you look at her surname, but, American Idol star and 1980s pop singer, Paula is of Syrian heritage. She was born in Aleppo, Syria, raised in Brazil and emigrated to the US. Ariana Grande For years Ariana thought she was Italian and then she took a genetic test and discovered her family line stems back to Algeria and Morocco. Jerry Seinfeld Comedian Jerry may be one of America's favourite stars but his mother was of Syrian ancestry and his dad was an immigrant from Turkey. Jerry can trace his heritage back to Ellis Island. Vince Vaughn True Detective and Wedding Crashers actor Vince can trace his Arabic ancestry back to his paternal grandmother who was Lebanese. He also has 'roots' in Italy, Holland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and Switzerland. Teri Hatcher We weren't too surprised to find out that the Desperate Housewives star is half Syrian, her dark hair, olive skin and brown eyes are a testament to that. But we were surprised to hear she is half Welsh. Who knew? Shakira While more famous for her Colombian roots, the Hips Don't Lie singer is part Lebanese – her Lebanese parental grandparents emigrated to New York. Much of her influences are Arabic from belly dancing to the best of the doumbek drum. Jenna Dewan Tatum Our red carpet crush and Mr Channing Tatum's other half is the daughter to a Lebanese/Polish dad. Wentworth Miller While Prison Break star and all-round Hollywood hunk Wentworth Miller was born in the UK, his dad is part African-American and Jamaican and his mum part Syrian and Lebanese. Shannon Elizabeth The dad of American Pie actress (she was the love interest in the first film) Shannon Elizabeth is of Lebanese and Syrian ancestry. |

Morales began his political career as a Cocalero trade union organizer. His administration has focused on the implementation of leftist policies, poverty reduction and combating the influence of the United States and transnational corporations in Bolivia. Born to an Aymara family of subsistence farmers in Isallawi, Orinoca Canton, Evo undertook a basic education before mandatory military service, in 1978 moving to Chapare Province. Growing coca, he joined the cocalero trade union, rising to prominence in the campesino union, campaigning against the United States and Bolivian government's attempts to eradicate coca as a part of the War on Drugs. Entering electoral politics in 1995, he became the leader of the Movement for Socialism, focusing on issues affecting indigenous and poor communities, advocating land reform and redistribution of gas wealth. Gaining increasing visibility through the gas conflict and the Cochabamba protests of 2000, in 2002 he was expelled from Congress, though he came second in that year's presidential election. Marcelo Martins Moreno Soccer Marcelo Martins Moreno, is a Bolivian footballer. He currently plays for Flamengo, on loan from Grêmio, as well as the Bolivian national team. Cornelio Saavedra Politician Cornelio Judas Tadeo de Saavedra y Rodríguez was a military officer and statesman from the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata. He was instrumental in the May Revolution, the first step of Argentina's independence from Spain, and was appointed president of the Primera Junta. Saavedra was the first commanding officer of the Regiment of Patricians created after the ill-fated British invasions of the Río de la Plata. The increased militarization of the city and the relaxation of the system of castas allowed him, as other criollo peoples, to become a prominent figure in local politics. His intervention was decisive to thwart the Mutiny of Álzaga and allow Viceroy Santiago de Liniers to stay in power. Although he supported the establishment of a government Junta, as others created in Spain during the contemporary Peninsular War, he desired that criollos had an important role in it. He advised against rushed actions as well, and as his Regiment was crucial in any action against the viceroy, he denied his help until it was a good strategic moment to do so. The opportunity came in May, 1810, and the May Revolution successfully ousted the viceroy. "Her mother married into a family of property" meaning she married into a more wealth family. Her father however was killed by Spaniards, and the killer apparently got away without any repercussions. She grew up in Chuquisaca and at the age of 12 joined a convent to become a nun. She was eventually expelled at the age of 17 because she rebelled far too often. She married Manuel Ascencio Padilla in 1805, a man who shared her love of the indigenous populations in Bolivia. She spoke the indigenous languages Quechua and Aymara. Túpac Katari Deceased Person Túpac Katari or Catari, born Julián Apasa Nina, was a leader in the rebellions of indigenous people of Bolivia against the Spanish Empire in the early 1780s. A member of the Aymara, Apasa took the name "Tupac Katari" to honor two rebel leaders: Tomás Katari, and Túpac Amaru II. He raised an army of some 40,000 and laid siege to the city of La Paz in 1781. Katari and his wife, Bartolina Sisa set up court in El Alto and maintained the siege for 184 days, from March to June and from August to October. Sisa was a commander of the siege, and played the crucial role following Katari's capture in April. The siege was broken by colonial troops who advanced from Lima and Buenos Aires. Katari laid siege again later in the year, this time joined by Andrés Túpac Amaru, nephew of Túpac Amaru II. But Katari was again unsuccessful. His widespread recognition prompted the MNR candidate Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada to pick him as running mate in the 2002 Bolivian presidential elections. The winning ticket of Sánchez-Mesa took possession on August 6, 2002. As Vice-President, Mesa was quickly caught between the proverbial rock and hard place, as a wave of protests and strikes shut down Bolivia in a bitter dispute known as the Bolivian Gas War. The demonstrations eventually forced Sánchez de Lozada to resign and leaving Mesa as President of the Republic. Jaime Laredo Violinist Jaime Laredo is a violinist and conductor. I am a white arab from Morocco, and i think i am smart since i have also invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms.. I think i am smart, and i will explain more the genealogy of Algerians, algerians are genetically mostly white berbers at around 64% or so, but they are also genetically white Europeans at around 36% or so, so look again another time at the following video and you will notice that the DNA RESULTS of the following algerian women does confirm my saying and notice how this algerian women looks a lot like white european celtics or germans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCf6Ew4I7V8 More of my philosophy about my genetics and more.. I think i am smart, and i have studied more my genealogy, and the mother of my father was genetically a berber from the city of Tlemcen in Algeria, and the mother and father of my mother were genetically berbers from Algeria, and my father and mother of my mother were berbers that spoke the berber language of the Zenati berbers of Algeria, and here is the brother of my grand-mother from my mother that was governing Morocco, he was the Prime Minister of Morocco and a berber of Iznasen berbers or Znasen berbers or Tznast berbers(Read about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mbarek_Bekkay) and he spoke the berber language of the the big ethnical group of Zenati berbers, but the Iznasen berbers come from Algeria, and they were berbers in Algeria before they have come to Morocco, you can read in the following web link about the Iznasen berbers or Znasen berbers or Tznast berbers so that to notice that they come from Algeria: https://fr-m-wikipedia-org.translate.goog/wiki/B%C3%A9ni-Snassen_(ethnie)?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en Also the father of my father was a berber from the city of Figuig near Algeria in Morocco, you can read about the berbers of the city of Figuig here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figuig So i am genetically mostly a berber from Algeria. I invite you to look at the following video of an Algerian group of musicians, and they are from Algeria, and you will notice that they are Mestizos of mixed Berber and European ancestry, since they look like german or celtic ethnic groups, since i think that Algerian people are mostly Mestizos of mixed Berber and European ancestry, i am also genetically an Algerian and i look like Mestizos of mixed Berber and European ancestry, and here is the video of true algerian musicians and notice how they look like celtics or germans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3xfKVA4VcY And you can take a look at my photo that i have just put here in my website(I am 53 years old): https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/jackson-network-problem More of my philosophy of what kind of taste has our human life and more.. I think that i am a philosopher that is smart, so can we be optimistic in philosophy ? so you are understanding me more, since a wise type of person like me will not be subjectivity, so he will stay objective, and staying objective is measuring it systemically, so when you are not a wise type of person you will have the tendency to say that human life doesn't "taste" good or human life is shit, but i think i am a wise type of person and i say that human life is a very "interesting" life or game, since the wise type of person like me is like an "engineer", he is like a technocrat, i mean that a technocrat or an engineer doesn't look at the desert(arid land with usually sparse vegetation) and say that the desert is shit, since the darkness of the desert is for him a mechanism that brings light since it makes the engineer or the scientific wanting to solve the problems of the desert and make the desert an interesting place where to live, as i am saying it in my below poem called "Darkness for me is not madness", read it below, so he is optimistic since the desert needs also from us to know how to make it "beautiful", so this kind of proactivity of the wise type of person like me, that looks like the one of the engineer and the technocrats, is primordial in philosophy and it is my way of doing and thinking, so then you are noticing that if we don't move like a wise type of person or like a technocrat or an engineer we are going to become too much "pessimistic", so the wise type of person like me will say that you have to stay "creative" so that to be optimistic, since creativity brings much more perfection, so it brings stability as i am saying it in my proverb below, so it brings optimism and hope, and you have also to look at our exponential progress of our humanity so that to be more optimism, and it is the way of doing of a wise type of person like me, since notice how i am an inventor of many proverbs and poems of Love and software scalable algorithms and algorithms and i am the inventor of my philosophy, so read my following poem that i have just invented so that to understand: More of my philosophy about my new proverb about Democracy and more.. As you have just noticed, i have just invented a proverb about Democracy, read it below and read all my other proverbs below, and as you notice in this new proverb that i am saying: "Since the basis of Democracy is to better and better discuss so that to bring good sageness and good soundness" So this "better and better discuss" means that it is "inherent" to it that we have to also be well educated and that it needs Elitism, and as you are noticing in my new proverb that i am saying that Democracy needs Elitism that is existence of an elite as a dominating element in a system or society such as congressmen and congresswomen of the USA congress. So i invite you to read my new proverb and all my following thoughts so that to understand: Here is my new proverb: "The basis of Democracy is not that people have to govern, since it is inferiority of Democracy, since the basis of Democracy is to better and better discuss so that to bring good sageness and good soundness, and after bringing this good sageness and good soundness, we can govern correctly with this good sageness and good soundness, this is why Democracy needs Elitism such as the congressmen and congresswomen of the USA congress so that to bring good sageness and good soundness." And of course you can read my just new poem below that also speaks about the basis of Democracy: And read my other new proverbs below that i have written quickly.. Here is my just new poem, and notice that the lightness in my new poem means: The state of having a sufficient or considerable amount of natural light. So here is my new poem: Darkness for me is not madness Since darkness is also a "mechanism" that brings better lightness Darkness for me is not madness Since better lightness is not coming just from U.S. state of Kansas Darkness for me is not madness Since better lightness is also coming from the USA congress Darkness for me is not madness Since the USA congress is also a place where to better discuss Darkness for me is not madness Since the better discuss is not loneliness and is not being novice Darkness for me is not madness Since to better discuss is also like our beautiful princess Darkness for me is not madness Since the better discuss brings better Sageness and better soundness Thank you, Amine Moulay Ramdane. -- More of my philosophy about what is Love and more.. I think i am smart, and i think i am also a philosopher and i think i am a wise type of person and i think it is also genetical in me, so now i will ask a philosophical question of: What is Love ? So i will answer it quickly as a wise type of person, so you have first to quickly see the patterns with your fluid intelligence, so i will find them quickly, so the first "path" is to say that so that to be the the future Love, the today Love must be "responsability", i also mean that the "goal" of philosophy that is "happiness" is the King rule here that we must refer to, so read my below thoughts of what is a philosopher and what is philosophy so that you understand more, so i think it is the objective and right way of abstract reasoning , so if you are "frivolity" of Love it is by logical analogy like being "subjectivity" and not "objectivity" and here again you are noticing my way of doing that looks like the way of a philosopher or a wise type of person, so i will ask a philosophical question that is logically inferred from the first one and it is: Does this objective Love that becomes responsability can still be called Love ? I think yes, since Love is also like by logical analogy of being Diplomatic, i mean you have to know how to "drive" towards this goal of happiness when you are responsability of Love so that to stay Love, so it takes Diplomacy and the right sensibility and smartness, and here is also what i have said about Love: More of my philosophy about Love and about my poetry of Love... Now you have to understand me, you are seeing me writing my poems of Love, but you have to understand my personality, so i will ask again the question of: What is Love? You have to understand, if i say: I love you very much. So as you are noticing that this sentence is expressing Love, but this sentence follows an organized "plan" , and it is that this sentence is organized correctly so that the others understand the sentence, so i think that so that to express love this needs to be "organized" correctly, so then i think that so that to be Love that is not handicaped, it needs smartness and it needs from us to be organized correctly and it needs from us to organize Love correctly. More philosophy about my poetry of Love.. You have to notice that my poetry of Love are like "management", because i am thinking them fast and writing them fast, so i have to give them a more beautiful rhythm and i have to manage them so that they look more beautiful, and i think that this needs a good emotional intelligence and social intelligence too, so now more philosophy on emotional intelligence and social intelligence (or interpersonal intelligence): Now I'm going to ask a smart question and it is the following: What is emotional intelligence and social intelligence (or interpersonal intelligence)? I answer this: When I give you 5 words which are the following: love, very, much, I, you So notice that for intelligence you need a plan to compose the following sentence from the above words: "I love you very much" So the intelligence of emotional intelligence and social intelligence is also "like" "management", since they make it possible to organize it and to make it order that is I believe the most "important" part of management, but to make it order or to organize it needs a "plan", but the plan to follow in order to be order (order in general or order in love to be able to to be love) is also intelligence including emotional intelligence and social intelligence, So emotional intelligence and social intelligence are also a plan that organize it or make it order, since they organize or regulate our behaviors so that to be order, and order is so important to achieve the necessary perfection. More philosophy on love. You have noticed that I am a white Arab, and you have also noticed that I have written several poems of Love in front of you, but now I am going to like to ask a smart question: What is love ? I think that expressing love is an intelligence like an emotional intelligence and social intelligence (or interpersonal intelligence) that I believe is so "important", because I believe that love is also emotional intelligence and social intelligence which organize or manage or regulate our behaviors so that to be order, and order is so important to achieve the necessary perfection. More of my philosophy about Nikola Tesla and more.. I have just took a look at the following video of the sayings of Nikola Tesla, and you can read about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla, and you can look at the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnQ-o6R2wac And i think Nikola Tesla doesn't look like me, Since of course i am also an inventor of many software scalable algorithms and algorithms, but i don't think Nikola Tesla was a wise type of person like me(and i think it is genetical in me), since for example he is saying the following saying in the above video: "Be alone, that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born" So i think that the above saying from Nikola Tesla is not smart at all, since creativity needs convergent and divergent thinking, and divergent thinking needs to "collect" information and data from other people so that to be efficient, and i also think that creativity is the mother of invention, so this is why Nikola Tesla is not smart by saying the above saying, and here is more of my smart thoughts about it so that you understand my kind of personality: More of my philosophy about divergent and convergent thinking and more.. I invite you to look at the following video: 5 Life-changing books YOU MUST READ in 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGZd2dn8IJ4 I think i am smart, and notice that he is talking about the book called "The one thing", and he is saying that we have to be focused on doing one thing at a time because it is good for productivity, and he is saying that doing many things at the same time is not good for productivity, but i think i am smart and i say he is not smart and he is not correct to say so, because we can do many things at the same time and be like divergent thinking before doing one thing at a time and be like convergent thinking, and this kind of efficient "balance" like between convergent and divergent thinking makes the efficient thinking, and here is my new proverb about my methodology: "Human vitality comes from intellectual openness and intellectual openness also comes from divergent thinking and you have to well balance divergent thinking with convergent thinking so that to converge towards the global optimum of efficiency and not get stuck on a local optimum of efficiency, and this kind of well balancing makes the good creativity." And i will explain more my proverb so that you understand it: I think that divergent thinking is thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions, but notice that we even need openness in a form of economic actors that share ideas across nations and industries (and this needs globalization) that make us much more creative and that's good for economy, since you can easily notice that globalization also brings a kind of |
| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:16PM -0800 Wit Inspirations Of The "Two-Year-Olds" All infants appear to have an impertinent and disagreeable fashion nowadays of saying "smart" things on most occasions that offer, and especially on occasions when they ought not to be saying anything at all. Judging by the average published specimens of smart sayings, the rising generation of children are little better than idiots. And the parents must surely be but little better than the children, for in most cases they are the publishers of the sunbursts of infantile imbecility which dazzle us from the pages of our periodicals. I may seem to speak with some heat, not to say a suspicion of personal spite; and I do admit that it nettles me to hear about so many gifted infants in these days, and remember that I seldom said anything smart when I was a child. I tried it once or twice, but it was not popular. The family were not expecting brilliant remarks from me, and so they snubbed me sometimes and spanked me the rest. But it makes my flesh creep and my blood run cold to think what might have happened to me if I had dared to utter some of the smart things of this generation's "four-year-olds" where my father could hear me. To have simply skinned me alive and considered his duty at an end would have seemed to him criminal leniency toward one so sinning. He was a stern, unsmiling man, and hated all forms of precocity. If I had said some of the things I have referred to, and said them in his hearing, he would have destroyed me. He would, indeed. He would, provided the opportunity remained with him. But it would not, for I would have had judgment enough to take some strychnine first and say my smart thing afterward. The fair record of my life has been tarnished by just one pun. My father overheard that, and he hunted me over four or five townships seeking to take my life. If I had been full-grown, of course he would have been right; but, child as I was, I could not know how wicked a thing I had done. I made one of those remarks ordinarily called "smart things" before that, but it was not a pun. Still, it came near causing a serious rupture between my father and myself. My father and mother, my uncle Ephraim and his wife, and one or two others were present, and the conversation turned on a name for me. I was lying there trying some India-rubber rings of various patterns, and endeavoring to make a selection, for I was tired of trying to cut my teeth on people's fingers, and wanted to get hold of something that would enable me to hurry the thing through and get something else. Did you ever notice what a nuisance it was cutting your teeth on your nurse's finger, or how back-breaking and tiresome it was trying to cut them on your big toe? And did you never get out of patience and wish your teeth were in Jerico long before you got them half cut? To me it seems as if these things happened yesterday. And they did, to some children. But I digress. I was lying there trying the India-rubber rings. I remember looking at the clock and noticing that in an hour and twenty-five minutes I would be two weeks old, and thinking how little I had done to merit the blessings that were so unsparingly lavished upon me. My father said: "Abraham is a good name. My grandfather was named Abraham." My mother said: "Abraham is a good name. Very well. Let us have Abraham for one of his names." I said: "Abraham suits the subscriber." My father frowned, my mother looked pleased; my aunt said: "What a little darling it is!" My father said: "Isaac is a good name, and Jacob is a good name." My mother assented, and said: "No names are better. Let us add Isaac and Jacob to his names." I said: "All right. Isaac and Jacob are good enough for yours truly. Pass me that rattle, if you please. I can't chew India-rubber rings all day." Not a soul made a memorandum of these sayings of mine, for publication. I saw that, and did it myself, else they would have been utterly lost. So far from meeting with a generous encouragement like other children when developing intellectually, I was now furiously scowled upon by my father; my mother looked grieved and anxious, and even my aunt had about her an expression of seeming to think that maybe I had gone too far. I took a vicious bite out of an India-rubber ring, and covertly broke the rattle over the kitten's head, but said nothing. Presently my father said: "Samuel is a very excellent name." I saw that trouble was coming. Nothing could prevent it. I laid down my rattle; over the side of the cradle I dropped my uncle's silver watch, the clothes-brush, the toy dog, my tin soldier, the nutmeg-grater, and other matters which I was accustomed to examine, and meditate upon and make pleasant noises with, and bang and batter and break when I needed wholesome entertainment. Then I put on my little frock and my little bonnet, and took my pygmy shoes in one hand and my licorice in the other, and climbed out on the floor. I said to myself, Now, if the worse comes to worst, I am ready. Then I said aloud, in a firm voice: "Father, I cannot, cannot wear the name of Samuel." "My son!" "Father, I mean it. I cannot." "Why?" "Father, I have an invincible antipathy to that name." "My son, this is unreasonable. Many great and good men have been named Samuel." "Sir, I have yet to hear of the first instance." "What! There was Samuel the prophet. Was not he great and good?" "Not so very." "My son! With His own voice the Lord called him." "Yes, sir, and had to call him a couple times before he could come!" And then I sallied forth, and that stern old man sallied forth after me. He overtook me at noon the following day, and when the interview was over I had acquired the name of Samuel, and a thrashing, and other useful information; and by means of this compromise my father's wrath was appeased and a misunderstanding bridged over which might have become a permanent rupture if I had chosen to be unreasonable. But just judging by this episode, what would my father have done to me if I had ever uttered in his hearing one of the flat, sickly things these "two-years-olds" say in print nowadays? In my opinion there would have been a case of infanticide in our family. |

| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:09PM -0800 It's not death itself that's so bad. It's what you might have to go through to get there. No horror film I've seen inflicts more terrible things on its victims than "The Human Centipede." You would have to be very brave to choose this ordeal over simply being murdered. Maybe you'd need to also be insane. I'm about to describe what happens to the film's victims. This will be a spoiler. I don't care, because (1) the details are common knowledge in horror film circles, and (2) if you don't know, you may be grateful to be warned. This is a movie I don't think I should be coy about. OK. Dr. Heiter is a mad scientist. He was once a respected surgeon, but has now retreated to his luxurious home in the German forest, which contains an operating room in the basement. His skin has a sickly pallor, his hair is dyed black, his speech reminds us of a standard Nazi, and he gnashes his teeth. He is filled with hatred and vile perversion. He drugs his victims and dumps them into his Mercedes. When they regain consciousness, they find themselves tied to hospital beds. He provides them with a little slide show to brief them on his plans. He will demonstrate his skills as a surgeon by — hey, listen, now you'd really better stop reading. What's coming next isn't so much a review as a public service announcement. Heiter plans to surgically join his victims by sewing together their mouths and anuses, all in a row, so the food goes in at the front and comes out at the rear. They will move on their hands and knees like an insect. You don't want to be part of the Human Centipede at all, but you most certainly don't want to be in the middle. Why does he want to commit this atrocity? He is insane, as I've already explained. He also wants to do it because he is in a movie by Tom Six, a Dutch director whose previous two films average 4 out of 10 on the IMDb.com scale, which is a score so low very few directors attain it. Six has now made a film deliberately intended to inspire incredulity, nausea and hopefully outrage. It's being booked as a midnight movie, and is it ever. Boozy fanboys will treat it like a thrill ride. And yet within Six, there stirs the soul of a dark artist. He treats his material with utter seriousness; there's none of the jokey undertone of a classic Hammer horror film like "Scream … and Scream Again" (1970), in which every time the victim awoke, another limb had been amputated. That one starred the all-star trio of Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, and you could see they were having fun. Dieter Laser, who plays Dr. Heiter, takes the role with relentless sincerity. This is his 63rd acting role, but, poor guy, is seemingly the one he was born to play. Tom Six is apparently the director's real name. I learn his favorite actor is Klaus Kinski, he is an AK-47 enthusiast, and wears RAF sunglasses and Panama hats. Not the kind of guy you want to share your seat on a Ferris wheel. He has said, "I get a rash from too much political correctness." I promise you that after this movie, his skin was smooth as a Gerber baby's. I have long attempted to take a generic approach. In other words, is a film true to its genre and does it deliver what its audiences presumably expect? "The Human Centipede" scores high on this scale. It is depraved and disgusting enough to satisfy the most demanding midnight movie fan. And it's not simply an exploitation film. The director makes, for example, effective use of the antiseptic interior of Heiter's labyrinthine home. Doors and corridors lead nowhere and anywhere. In a scene where the police come calling, Six wisely has Heiter almost encourage their suspicions. And there is a scene toward the end, as the Human Centipede attempts escape, that's so piteous, it transcends horror and approaches tragedy. The members of the Centipede are Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie and Akihiro Kitamura. The Japanese actor screams in subtitled Japanese, perhaps because he will broaden the film's appeal among Asian horror fans. In the film's last half, the two actresses don't scream at all, if you follow me. I am required to award stars to movies I review. This time, I refuse to do it. The star rating system is unsuited to this film. Is the movie good? Is it bad? Does it matter? It is what it is and occupies a world where the stars don't shine. |
| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:07PM -0800 Ad Hominem An ad hominem fallacy uses personal attacks rather than logic. This fallacy occurs when someone rejects or criticizes another point of view based on the personal characteristics, ethnic background, physical appearance, or other non-relevant traits of the person who holds it. Ad hominem arguments are often used in politics, where they are often called "mudslinging." They are considered unethical because politicians can use them to manipulate voters' opinions against an opponent without addressing core issues. Straw Man A straw man argument attacks a different subject rather than the topic being discussed — often a more extreme version of the counter argument. The purpose of this misdirection is to make one's position look stronger than it actually is. The straw man argument is appropriately named after a harmless, lifeless scarecrow. Instead of contending with the actual argument, they attack the equivalent of a lifeless bundle of straw — an easily defeated puppet that the opponent was never arguing for in the first place. Appeal to Ignorance An appeal to ignorance (also known as an "argument from ignorance") argues that a proposition must be true because it has not been proven false or there is no evidence against it. The argument can be used to bolster multiple contradictory conclusions at once, such as the following two claims: "No one has ever been able to prove that extraterrestrials exist, so they must not be real." "No one has ever been able to prove that extraterrestrials do not exist, so they must be real." An appeal to ignorance doesn't prove anything. Instead, it shifts the need for proof away from the person making a claim. False Dilemma/False Dichotomy A false dilemma or false dichotomy presents limited options — typically by focusing on two extremes — when in fact more possibilities exist. The phrase "America: Love it or leave it" is an example of a false dilemma. The false dilemma fallacy is a manipulative tool designed to polarize the audience, promoting one side and demonizing another. It's common in political discourse as a way of strong-arming the public into supporting controversial legislation or policies. Slippery Slope A slippery slope argument assumes that a certain course of action will necessarily lead to a chain of future events. The slippery slope fallacy takes a benign premise or starting point and suggests that it will lead to unlikely or ridiculous outcomes with no supporting evidence. You may have used this fallacy on your parents as a teenager: "But you have to let me go to the party! If I don't go to the party, I'll be a loser with no friends. Next thing you know, I'll end up alone and jobless, living in your basement when I'm 30!" Circular Argument Circular arguments occur when a person's argument repeats what they already assumed before without arriving at a new conclusion. For example, if someone says, "According to my brain, my brain is reliable," that's a circular argument. Circular arguments often use a claim as both a premise and a conclusion. This fallacy only appears to be an argument when in fact it's just restating one's assumptions. Hasty Generalization A hasty generalization is a claim based on a few examples rather than substantial proof. Arguments based on hasty generalizations often don't hold up due to a lack of supporting evidence: The claim might be true in one case, but that doesn't mean it's always true. Hasty generalizations are common in arguments because there's a wide range of what's acceptable for "sufficient" evidence. The rules for evidence can change based on the claim you're making and the environment where you are making it — whether it's rooted in philosophy, the sciences, a political debate, or discussing house rules for using the kitchen. Red Herring A red herring is an argument that uses confusion or distraction to shift attention away from a topic and toward a false conclusion. Red herrings usually contain an unimportant fact, idea, or event that has little relevance to the real issue. Red herrings are a common diversionary tactic when someone wants to shift the focus of an argument to something easier or safer to address. But red herrings can also be unintentional. Appeal to Hypocrisy An appeal to hypocrisy — also known as the tu quoque fallacy — focuses on the hypocrisy of an opponent. The tu quoque fallacy deflects criticism away from oneself by accusing the other person of the same problem or something comparable. The tu quoque fallacy is an attempt to divert blame. The fallacy usually occurs when the arguer uses apparent hypocrisy to neutralize criticism and distract from the issue. Causal Fallacy Causal fallacies are informal fallacies that occur when an argument incorrectly concludes that a cause is related to an effect. Think of the causal fallacy as a parent category for other fallacies about unproven causes. One example is the false cause fallacy, which is when you draw a conclusion about what the cause was without enough evidence to do so. Another is the post hoc fallacy, which is when you mistake something for the cause because it came first — not because it actually caused the effect. Sunk Cost A sunk cost fallacy is when someone continues doing something because of the effort they already put in it, regardless of whether the additional costs outweigh the potential benefits. "Sunk cost" is an economic term for any past expenses that can no longer be recovered. For example: Imagine that after watching the first six episodes of a TV show, you decide the show isn't for you. Those six episodes are your "sunk cost." A sunk cost fallacy would be deciding to finish watching anyway because you've already invested roughly six hours of your life in it. Appeal to Authority Appeal to authority is the misuse of an authority's opinion to support an argument. While an authority's opinion can represent evidence and data, it becomes a fallacy if their expertise or authority is overstated, illegitimate, or irrelevant to the topic. For example, citing a foot doctor when trying to prove something related to psychiatry would be an appeal to authority fallacy. Equivocation Equivocation happens when a word, phrase, or sentence is used deliberately to confuse, deceive, or mislead. In other words, saying one thing but meaning another. When it's poetic or comical, we call this a "play on words." But when it's done in a political speech, an ethics debate, or an economics report — and it's designed to make the audience think you're saying something you're not — that's when it becomes a fallacy. Appeal to Pity An appeal to pity relies on provoking your emotions to win an argument rather than factual evidence. Appealing to pity attempts to pull on an audience's heartstrings, distract them, and support their point of view. Someone accused of a crime using a cane or walker to appear more feeble in front of a jury is one example of appeal to pity. The appearance of disability isn't an argument on the merits of the case, but it's intended to sway the jury's opinion anyway. Bandwagon Fallacy The bandwagon fallacy assumes something is true (or right or good) because others agree with it. In other words, the fallacy argues that if everyone thinks a certain way, then you should, too. One problem with this kind of reasoning is that the broad acceptance of a claim or action doesn't mean that it's factually justified. People can be mistaken, confused, deceived, or even willfully irrational in their opinions, so using them to make an argument is flawed. |

| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 02:01PM -0800 Quyllurit'i (Quechua: quyllu rit'i, quyllu - bright white, rit'i - snow - "bright white snow,") is a spiritual festival that is held annually at the Sinakara Valley, in the south Cusco Region of Peru. The indigenous people of the surrounding Andean communities know this anniversary as a native celebration of the stars above. They are festivities of the reappearance of the Pleiades constellation, known in Quechua as Qullqa, or "storehouse," and is correlated with the imminent harvest and New Year. The Pleiades disappears from view in April and reappears in June. The turn of the year is marked by the local districts of the Southern Hemisphere on the Winter Solstice in June, and it is also a Catholic festival, which has been celebrated for hundreds if not thousands of years. This pilgrimage and event takes place in the latter part of May or early June and coincides with the cycle of the full moon. It normally occurs a week before the Christian feast of Corpus Christi. Events typically include processions of holy icons and dances in and around the shrine of the Lord of Quyllurit'i. Many thousands of people will kneel to greet the first rays of light as the sun rises above the horizon. The main event for the Church is carried out by Ukukus, mythical demigods who climb glaciers over Qullqipunku mountain and return bearing crosses and blocks of ice to place along the road to the shrine. They are known to be therapeutic with healing qualities. |

| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 01:58PM -0800 Colotis vestalis (The White Arab) Colotis vestalis, the white Arab, is a small butterfly of the family Pieridae, that is, the yellows and whites, which is found in India, Pakistan, Iran, Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya and Tanzania. It has a wingspan of 4–5 cm. Wet-season brood The male has a white ground colour on the upperside, and the forewings and hindwings have broad terminal black bands. The forewing base, costal margin broadly and discoidal cell except at its lower apical area are heavily irrorated (speckled) with dusky-grey scales with a short streak at upper apex of cell joined to a large spot on the discocellulars, black; superposed on the black terminal area are two small preapical spots and a much larger subterminal spot in interspace 3, all of the white ground colour; minute white terminal specks also, often more or less obsolescent, in the interspaces. Hindwing more uniform, very slightly irrorated with grey scales at base, the black terminal band immaculate. Underside: greenish yellow sparsely sprinkled with black scales, the yellow very pale on the disc of the forewing, fading to white along its dorsal margin; discocellular spot and three subterminal posterior spots, that are placed in a curve, black; the lowest spot of the three sometimes extended to the dorsal margin (var. puellaris). Hindwing: uniform, with a very small annular spot on the discocellulars. Cilia white. Antennae, head, thorax and abdomen black, the antennae speckled and tipped with white, the thorax clothed with long bluish-grey hairs; beneath: palpi, thorax and abdomen white. The female upperside is very similar to that of the male, with her terminal bands broader and brownish rather than black. The female's underside base and cellular area on forewing white are suffused with greenish yellow, while the costa and apex of forewing and the whole surface of the hindwing are pale ochraceous. The forewing has black spots as in the male, while the hindwing in a few specimens has an anterior, discal, somewhat obscure, macular, incomplete band. Antennae, head, thorax and abdomen are the same as in the male. Dry-season brood Similar to the wet-season brood, but on the upperside the black markings are duller in tint and narrower, while on the underside in both sexes the costal and apical areas on the forewing and the whole surface of the hindwing vary from pale ochraceous to dark reddish ochraceous. Variety peelus, Swinhoe, has the ground colour on the upperside pale canary yellow. |
| Flatulata Dentata <flatulata.dentata@gmail.com>: Jan 07 01:52PM -0800 The Eyes Have It, by Philip K. Dick It was quite by accident I discovered this incredible invasion of Earth by lifeforms from another planet. As yet, I haven't done anything about it; I can't think of anything to do. I wrote to the Government, and they sent back a pamphlet on the repair and maintenance of frame houses. Anyhow, the whole thing is known; I'm not the first to discover it. Maybe it's even under control. I was sitting in my easy-chair, idly turning the pages of a paperbacked book someone had left on the bus, when I came across the reference that first put me on the trail. For a moment I didn't respond. It took some time for the full import to sink in. After I'd comprehended, it seemed odd I hadn't noticed it right away. The reference was clearly to a nonhuman species of incredible properties, not indigenous to Earth. A species, I hasten to point out, customarily masquerading as ordinary human beings. Their disguise, however, became transparent in the face of the following observations by the author. It was at once obvious the author knew everything. Knew everything--and was taking it in his stride. The line (and I tremble remembering it even now) read: ...his eyes slowly roved about the room. Vague chills assailed me. I tried to picture the eyes. Did they roll like dimes? The passage indicated not; they seemed to move through the air, not over the surface. Rather rapidly, apparently. No one in the story was surprised. That's what tipped me off. No sign of amazement at such an outrageous thing. Later the matter was amplified. ...his eyes moved from person to person. There it was in a nutshell. The eyes had clearly come apart from the rest of him and were on their own. My heart pounded and my breath choked in my windpipe. I had stumbled on an accidental mention of a totally unfamiliar race. Obviously non-Terrestrial. Yet, to the characters in the book, it was perfectly natural--which suggested they belonged to the same species. And the author? A slow suspicion burned in my mind. The author was taking it rather too easily in his stride. Evidently, he felt this was quite a usual thing. He made absolutely no attempt to conceal this knowledge. The story continued: ...presently his eyes fastened on Julia. Julia, being a lady, had at least the breeding to feel indignant. She is described as blushing and knitting her brows angrily. At this, I sighed with relief. They weren't all non-Terrestrials. The narrative continues: ...slowly, calmly, his eyes examined every inch of her. Great Scott! But here the girl turned and stomped off and the matter ended. I lay back in my chair gasping with horror. My wife and family regarded me in wonder. "What's wrong, dear?" my wife asked. I couldn't tell her. Knowledge like this was too much for the ordinary run-of-the-mill person. I had to keep it to myself. "Nothing," I gasped. I leaped up, snatched the book, and hurried out of the room. ***** In the garage, I continued reading. There was more. Trembling, I read the next revealing passage: ...he put his arm around Julia. Presently she asked him if he would remove his arm. He immediately did so, with a smile. It's not said what was done with the arm after the fellow had removed it. Maybe it was left standing upright in the corner. Maybe it was thrown away. I don't care. In any case, the full meaning was there, staring me right in the face. Here was a race of creatures capable of removing portions of their anatomy at will. Eyes, arms--and maybe more. Without batting an eyelash. My knowledge of biology came in handy, at this point. Obviously they were simple beings, uni-cellular, some sort of primitive single-celled things. Beings no more developed than starfish. Starfish can do the same thing, you know. I read on. And came to this incredible revelation, tossed off coolly by the author without the faintest tremor: ...outside the movie theater we split up. Part of us went inside, part over to the cafe for dinner. Binary fission, obviously. Splitting in half and forming two entities. Probably each lower half went to the cafe, it being farther, and the upper halves to the movies. I read on, hands shaking. I had really stumbled onto something here. My mind reeled as I made out this passage: ...I'm afraid there's no doubt about it. Poor Bibney has lost his head again. Which was followed by: ...and Bob says he has utterly no guts. Yet Bibney got around as well as the next person. The next person, however, was just as strange. He was soon described as: ...totally lacking in brains. ***** There was no doubt of the thing in the next passage. Julia, whom I had thought to be the one normal person, reveals herself as also being an alien life form, similar to the rest: ...quite deliberately, Julia had given her heart to the young man. It didn't relate what the final disposition of the organ was, but I didn't really care. It was evident Julia had gone right on living in her usual manner, like all the others in the book. Without heart, arms, eyes, brains, viscera, dividing up in two when the occasion demanded. Without a qualm. ...thereupon she gave him her hand. I sickened. The rascal now had her hand, as well as her heart. I shudder to think what he's done with them, by this time. ...he took her arm. Not content to wait, he had to start dismantling her on his own. Flushing crimson, I slammed the book shut and leaped to my feet. But not in time to escape one last reference to those carefree bits of anatomy whose travels had originally thrown me on the track: ...her eyes followed him all the way down the road and across the meadow. I rushed from the garage and back inside the warm house, as if the accursed things were following me. My wife and children were playing Monopoly in the kitchen. I joined them and played with frantic fervor, brow feverish, teeth chattering. I had had enough of the thing. I want to hear no more about it. Let them come on. Let them invade Earth. I don't want to get mixed up in it. I have absolutely no stomach for it. |

| Amine Moulay Ramdane <aminer68@gmail.com>: Jan 07 01:23PM -0800 Hello, More of my philosophy about my genetics and more.. I am a white arab from Morocco, and i think i am smart since i have also invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms.. More of my philosophy about the berbers from Numidia the actual Algeria and more.. I am racially a berber from the Kingdom of Numidia, and i am racially like the following philosopher that is known in western countries that we call the philosopher St. Augustine that is also the Christian bishop and theologian, he is a berber from Numidia the actual algeria, here he is: https://www.britannica.com/biography/Saint-Augustine More of my philosophy about my genetics as a berber from Numidia and more.. I am genetically a white berber from ancient Kingdom of Numidia the actual Algeria, i don't look like berbers of ancient Kingdom of Mauretania from the actual Morocco, i am from ancient Kingdom of Numidia the actual Algeria, you can read about my Kingdom of berbers of Numidia the actual Algeria here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numidia But i think that we berbers of Numedia have racially intermixed with other european ethnic groups like Romans of Italy and Iberians of Spain and german Vandals etc. More of my philosophy about the genetics of Algerians and more.. I invite you to look at the following video: 5 Life-changing books YOU MUST READ in 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGZd2dn8IJ4 I think i am smart, and notice that he is talking about the book called "The one thing", and he is saying that we have to be focused on doing one thing at a time because it is good for productivity, and he is saying that doing many things at the same time is not good for productivity, but i think i am smart and i say he is not smart and he is not correct to say so, because we can do many things at the same time and be like divergent thinking before doing one thing at a time and be like convergent thinking, and this kind of efficient "balance" like between convergent and divergent thinking makes the efficient thinking, and here is my new proverb about my methodology: "Human vitality comes from intellectual openness and intellectual openness also comes from divergent thinking and you have to well balance divergent thinking with convergent thinking so that to converge towards the global optimum of efficiency and not get stuck on a local optimum of efficiency, and this kind of well balancing makes the good creativity." | Amine Moulay Ramdane <aminer68@gmail.com>: Jan 07 12:15PM -0800 Hello, More of my philosophy about my genetics as a berber from Numidia and more.. I am a white arab from Morocco, and i think i am smart since i have also invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms.. I am genetically a white berber from ancient Kingdom of Numedia the actual Algeria, i don't look like berbers of ancient Kingdom of Mauretania from the actual Morocco, i from ancient Kingdom of Numedia the actual Algeria, you can read about my Kingdom of berbers of Numidia the actual Algeria here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numidia But i think that we berbers of Numedia have racially intermixed with other european ethnic groups like Romans of Italy and Iberians of Spain and german Vandals etc. More of my philosophy about the genetics of Algerians and more.. I don't think so, since money as the new religion creates the strong tendency to getting rich quickly, so it creates the strong tendency to be much less patience or determination of studying effectively and efficiently so that to bring stability or order, since this is why i have just said in my proverb below: I am not living in the doubt or uncertainty, but I am not living either in the certitude, but i have become much more perfect so that to bring stability, since stability is obtained with the force of perfection, because when you become more perfect you increase your strenghts , then you better resist instabilities, and I think this is like a law of Morality." I invite you to look again at the following idiotic french saying: "Les bons comptes font les bons ami(e)s" And in english it means: "Good accounts make the good friends" So i think i am smart and i really think that this idiotic french saying is problematic, since when you are much stronger and you are the consumer you can set the good accounts as being that you have to be satisfied at 90% or 100% to make the good friends even if 65% satisfaction make the good friends, and it still is in accordance with rule above since if you don't follow, in this case, the much stronger than you, then you risk a retaliation, so i think it is in accordance with the rule above of the idiotic french saying and since this manner of dealing is the "good accounts" in the above saying since the much stronger than you can dictate, so then i think that the rule above of the saying is an idiotic rule. Read my previous thoughts: More of my philosophy about the wise man and the idiotic french saying and more.. I think i am smart, and i think that my explanation of the idiotic french saying below shows that we have to be careful, since from my explanation of the idiotic french saying below, a satisfaction of 65% can make the good friends, but for example Donald Trump is a more violent guy that has the strong tendency to set the good accounts high at 90% or 100% satisfaction, so then we can notice that the problem of today is this kind of toxic virility that is not enough patience or not enough tolerance or not enough Diplomacy, so you are noticing that we have to be careful with how to set the laws of the country , since we have to control those kind of more violent people and prevent them from hurting Democracy or people. Read my following previous thoughts so that you understand what i means: More of my philosophy about the idiotic french saying and more.. There is a known saying in french that says: "Les bons comptes font les bons ami(e)s" And in english it means: "Good accounts make the good friends" I will explain more this idiotic french saying so that you understand: I think this french saying is idiotic since the good accounts can be for example that you are satisfied at 65%, so this satisfaction can become not the good accounts in a form of 90% or 100% satisfaction , but satisfaction of 65% can make the good friends, so since the good accounts can be interpreted by more violent people as 90% or 100% satisfaction , so i think that this french saying is idiotic, so this saying is a kind of law of retaliation or a kind of the Eye for an Eye since it is too much violence and extremism. More of my philosophy of what kind of taste has our human life and more.. I invite you to look at the following video: 5 Life-changing books YOU MUST READ in 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGZd2dn8IJ4 I think i am smart, and notice that he is talking about the book called "The one thing", and he is saying that we have to be focused on doing one thing at a time because it is good for productivity, and he is saying that doing many things at the same time is not good for productivity, but i think i am smart and i say he is not smart and he is not correct to say so, because we can do many things at the same time and be like divergent thinking before doing one thing at a time and be like convergent thinking, and this kind of efficient "balance" like between convergent and divergent thinking makes the efficient thinking, and here is my new proverb about my methodology: "Human vitality comes from intellectual openness and intellectual openness also comes from divergent thinking and you have to well balance divergent thinking with convergent thinking so that to converge towards the global optimum of efficiency and not get stuck on a local optimum of efficiency, and this kind of well balancing makes the good creativity." And i will explain more my proverb so that you understand it: I think that divergent thinking is thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions, but notice that we even need openness in a form of economic actors that share ideas across nations and industries (and this needs globalization) that make us much more creative and that's good for economy, since you can easily notice that globalization also brings a kind of optimality to divergent thinking, and also you have to know how to balance divergent thinking with convergent thinking, since if divergent thinking is much greater than convergent thinking it can become costly in terms of time, and if the convergent thinking is much greater than divergent thinking you can get stuck on local optimum of efficiency and not converge to a global optimum of efficiency. And here is my thoughts about artificial intelligence and evolutionary algorithms in artificial intelligence so that you understand more: https://groups.google.com/g/alt.culture.morocco/c/P9OTDTiCZ44 Here is my second other just new proverb of today: "Does money must become the new religion? I don't think so, since money as the new religion creates the strong tendency to getting rich quickly, so it creates the strong tendency to be much less patience or determination of studying effectively and efficiently so that to bring stability or order, since this is why i have just said in my proverb below: I am not |
