Leda and the Swan

A sudden blow: the great wings beating still
Above the staggering girl, her thighs caressed
By the dark webs, her nape caught in his bill,
He holds her helpless breast upon his breast.

How can those terrified vague fingers push
The feathered glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can body, laid in that white rush,
But feel the strange heart beating where it lies?

A shudder in the loins engenders there
The broken wall, the burning roof and tower
And Agamemnon dead. Being so caught up,
So mastered by the brute blood of the air,
Did she put on his knowledge with his power
Before the indifferent beak could let her drop?

Why Men Send Pics of Their Junk
A modern online peril reveals core differences in gender and mating.

Any woman who has ever ventured into the world of online dating, or almost any form of modern electronic communication, will tell you that one of their main complaints is that men routinely send them unsolicited pictures of their genitals. Women understandably complain about this for two main reasons:

They really don't want to see these pics.
Guys send the pics without asking, often without any explanation or context. Typically, sending such a picture is one of the first communications women receive from these men.
"Men are GROSS" is the most common explanation that women have for this. Others might add "They're GROSS and STUPID. Do they really think I'm going to magically want to have sex with them now, after seeing their penis?"

As silly as this issue might seem to be, it offers some genuine opportunity for insight into the ways that modern technology reveals interesting aspects of sexuality and gender.

This definitely appears to be more of a male thing. At least, in terms of sending the pictures unrequested. Both males and females are commonly sending nudes of themselves to people they meet online, but women tend to wait until asked. That distinction may simply be an expression of gender differences in mating and dating strategies. The fact is, women are told that being sexually bold in such a manner is shameful and makes them a slut.

There really aren't any research studies looking at this question, and so all we can do right now is speculate, though with some informed psychological wisdom:

It's most likely that this behavior represents an aspect of men's misperception of female sexual interest. Men love the idea of receiving such pictures from strangers, and they assume women do too. Men notoriously misperceive women's sexual interest in them and project their own sexual interests and desires onto women. In this situation, men really are hoping and thinking that you'll be turned on and send them a pic in response.
It's probable that some of this connects to the fact that in an anonymous environment, people, and especially men, are likely to engage in more sexualized behaviors. Psychological research has demonstrated that in anonymous environments, people, both men and women, engage in fairly casual sexual behaviors, including exhibitionism.

Male mating strategies have always included an element of "boldness," where men who are bold and brash sometimes garner female attention they wouldn't otherwise receive if they were nice and polite. This is a key tenet behind the Pick-Up Artist strategies, where men are encouraged to be bold and impulsive. So, the "shock value" is a way for men to get attention. And negative attention is better than no attention at all.

It's probable that at least some of these men receive a sexual thrill at the idea of an unknown woman seeing their genitalia. It may be an aspect of exhibitionism, and some of these men probably masturbate as a part of the act, imagining that woman seeing the picture they sent. The fact that a woman rejects them for it is not salient, because for many such men, it is the woman's disgust and rejection which is actually part of the turn-on. These are likely the same men that used to be in trenchcoats on street corners. In Ohio, one man was dubbed "The Naked Photographer" because he would jump out and expose his penis to women, and take a photo of their reaction. When he was caught, he later admitted that he would masturbate to the pictures of the women's reactions. Famous French philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau used to hang his naked buttocks out of alleyways, hoping that some women passersby would spank him for being such a naughty boy.

Men fear sexual rejection, and by sending pics of their genitalia, they are almost getting "pre-approval." This way, they get the chance of rejection out of the way early, so they don't have to worry about being rejected or shamed once they drop their pants on a real date.
article continues after advertisement

It's important to note that within gay male circles, this behavior is very common, and is not viewed as a problem. In fact, many men are happy to get such pictures, and usually respond in kind. That's important. because it offers some confirmation that many men want to receive such pics, and are really hoping their recipient will enjoy it and be turned on. But, for some reason, whether biology, psychology or social suppression of female sexuality, women don't enjoy this the way men do. In a clever twist, one woman started sending men pics of female genitals. She was surprised that overwhelmingly, men loved it, found her boldness both sexy and fun, and wanted to meet her. So, again, we have evidence that men are sending such pictures because they think others will like them, as much as they do.

Smartphones, texting, email and online dating are the current vehicle for this behavior and sexual dynamic, but let's not pretend that this is a new issue. The underlying sexual processes and dynamics have always been with us. One issue is that men just aren't good at hearing, or responding to "No." I'm not excusing that. But this same dynamic, that men think women are sexually as excited as they are, is getting in the way of men hearing the "No, we DON'T want to see that!"

There ARE men who've gone to jail and been put on sex offender registries for sending such pictures to persons they didn't know, who turned out to be underage. This behavior is sometimes much more serious than we may know.

Many women are genuinely bothered by receiving such pictures and view it as an unwelcome intrusion. Some feminist writers have described this as a form of sexual assault, and a way in which men assert the dominance of their sexuality over that of women. Such pictures can be a form of sexual harassment when they occur in a work/professional environment.

I empathize with the women who are offended and grossed out at receiving such images. Women, and all people, should be able to have some safe spaces. Unfortunately, safety on the Internet is hard to come by. I do think that this is a particular issue in our society, where nudity is sexualized and taboo. I wonder if women have as strong a reaction in societies where intersex nudity is common in bathing and beaches?

Ultimately, the answer here lies in greater dialogue with men and women, over what they actually want in sexual communications. This might reach some of these men, those who are genuinely not understanding some sexual differences. But, this requires for women to have the safety to be honest about their sexual interests. For instance, could women ever say, "Look, I probably WOULD like to see your penis pic, but I'd like to be able to ASK for it..."? The shaming and suppression of female sexuality is part of the issue here, as men don't feel they understand what women actually want sexually, and women don't feel they can express it safely.

Unfortunately, I don't think such dialogue is happening, or even possible right now. People who are offended and grossed out at such images would like them banned. They want men to understand that such behaviors are rude, unacceptable and should simply stop. Many women have tried attacking such men, flaming and shaming them, both online and in personal communications. But such strategies probably won't work.

A tenet of psychology is that negative reinforcement is still reinforcement. The more uproar, outrage and disgust that such pics get, the more powerful some men feel. They feel some pride that their penis generated this strong reaction. So, shaming, banning, flaming strategies are unlikely to be successful. A better strategy is to ignore it. I know that probably feels unsatisfying. But if we remove as much of the reinforcement, including negative attention, many of these men might view this behavior as ultimately unrewarding.

It's important that women, and men, understand that this behavior, even when it feels distasteful and rude, is not personal. It's not actually about you, the person receiving these pics. This dynamic, silly as it can be, is not proof that men are disgusting perverts and women are prudes. This behavior reveals some core differences between men and women's sexual personalities, and that men need to work harder at understanding women's actual sexual interests and motivations.

The more we engage in open dialogue about these issues and sexual motivations and miscommunications, the better.

The Festival of Qoyllur Riti

Quyllurit'i (Quechua: quyllu rit'i, quyllu - bright white, rit'i - snow - "bright white snow,") is a spiritual festival that is held annually at the Sinakara Valley, in the south Cusco Region of Peru. The indigenous people of the surrounding Andean communities know this anniversary as a native celebration of the stars above. They are festivities of the reappearance of the Pleiades constellation, known in Quechua as Qullqa, or "storehouse," and is correlated with the imminent harvest and New Year. The Pleiades disappears from view in April and reappears in June.

The turn of the year is marked by the local districts of the Southern Hemisphere on the Winter Solstice in June, and it is also a Catholic festival, which has been celebrated for hundreds if not thousands of years.

This pilgrimage and event takes place in the latter part of May or early June and coincides with the cycle of the full moon. It normally occurs a week before the Christian feast of Corpus Christi. Events typically include processions of holy icons and dances in and around the shrine of the Lord of Quyllurit'i.

Many thousands of people will kneel to greet the first rays of light as the sun rises above the horizon. The main event for the Church is carried out by Ukukus, mythical demigods who climb glaciers over Qullqipunku mountain and return bearing crosses and blocks of ice to place along the road to the shrine. They are known to be therapeutic with healing qualities.

Lots of Names back in 2018. Yes. It's been at least that long since anyone else but you has posted more than once or twice here.

Worst Best Actress Oscar Winners

7 worst best-actress Oscar winners
Barbara VanDenburgh, The Republic | azcentral.com

In 2002, Halle Berry became the first Black woman to be named best actress at the Oscars, unfortunately for the film "Monster's Ball."
Maybe it was a weak year. Maybe a split vote for worthier winners allowed lesser ones to slip in. Maybe there were bribes. Maybe half the Academy members had a stroke as they were filling out their ballots.

There are some Oscar wins baffling enough to lead to that sort of speculation. Some were outrageous from the start, while others only revealed their awfulness with the benefit of hindsight.

Whatever the explanation, these seven Oscar wins for best actress have not stood the test of time, even if the actresses have.

Judy Holliday, "Born Yesterday" (1950)
Life imitated art when "All About Eve" stars Bette Davis and Anne Baxter went head-to-head for best actress. The former, in one of her greatest roles, played a veteran actress on the wane, and the latter, her young usurper. It was the first time two actresses competed against each other for the same film, and the vote split in Holliday's favor for "Born Yesterday." The Hollywood newcomer is bubbly and doll-like as the uneducated, daffy moll of a rich mobster in the slight and sexist romantic comedy – and if there's anything Davis' role wasn't, it's slight and sexist.

Grace Kelly, "The Country Girl" (1954)
Kelly was a beautiful and iconic actress, but she wasn't exactly a great one, especially in "The Country Girl," in which she plays the ever-so-slightly dowdy and beleaguered wife of an alcoholic actor. She was fine, but she was no Judy Garland, who gave her all and more for her comeback role in "A Star Is Born." She was so heavily tipped to win that a camera crew was set up in her hospital room, where she was recuperating from the birth of her son, to record her speech when the winner was announced – a speech she never got to deliver, and a loss from which she never recovered.

Elizabeth Taylor, "Butterfield 8" (1960)
Was there ever an actress so effervescent, so charming, so crush-worthy and perfectly cast as Shirley MacLaine in "The Apartment"? (Answer: No.) MacLaine should have won the Oscar with an exclamation point that year, but the award instead went to Taylor for a subpar drama about a promiscuous woman that seems to be more about its lead actresses' sex appeal than anything else. Taylor deserved Oscars for about half a dozen movies – just not this one.

Katharine Hepburn, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1968)
Hollywood went through a radical shift in the late '60s with the death of the puritanical Production Code, and many of the films nominated in '68 were groundbreaking, particularly "The Graduate" and "Bonnie and Clyde" (Anne Bancroft was nominated for the former, and Faye Dunaway the latter). But the Academy went nostalgic and awarded Hepburn the Oscar for what was essentially her farewell tour with ailing partner Spencer Tracy. The woman one four Oscars; we can begrudge her one.

Helen Hunt, "As Good as It Gets" (1997)
To buy into "As Good as It Gets", you have to fall for Jack Nicholson's charms, which Hunt's character inexplicably does despite his being a racist, homophobic, misogynistic misanthrope 26 years her senior. Hunt gets one excellent and emotional breakdown scene, but the rest of her role – rolling her eyes at Nicholson's bad behavior while she teaches him how to be a person because she's lonely – is insulting. Plus, she's got the charisma and screen presence of unbuttered toast.

Gwyneth Paltrow, "Shakespeare in Love" (1998)
The Academy got a lot of things wrong in 1998, even more than usual (no small feat). Their infatuation with Shakespeare-for-dummies romantic comedy "Shakespeare in Love" remains confounding. It's a pleasant if hollow romp through Elizabethan England with some nice supporting performances, but Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes are out of place and out of their depth as thoroughly '90s-looking romantic leads who play out their own anemic version of "Romeo and Juliet." That she beat out Cate Blanchett, who played the Virgin Queen herself in the much better "Elizabeth," is added insult.

Halle Berry, "Monster's Ball" (2002)
There's no arguing that Berry's win was important: She became the first Black woman to win a best-actress Oscar, and she won it alongside Denzel Washington, who took home best actor for "Training Day." But oh, that she had starred in something better than "Monster's Ball," where she plays a widow who falls for the racist officer who helped execute her husband. And then Berry squandered all that Oscar good will on a film as atrocious as "Catwoman."

A Rose By Any Other Name....

Juliet:

O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.

Romeo:

[Aside] Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?

Juliet:

'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? It is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

Romeo:

I take thee at thy word:
Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized;
Henceforth I never will be Romeo.

You're Probably a Bad Poet
Article by Troy Camplin

It's easy to be a bad poet nowadays. All you have to do is "write what you feel" — and be sure that you break it up into lines. Since free verse poetry has come to dominate poetry in the last century, everyone has come to the conclusion that he or she can be a poet. If, in order to be considered a poet, you had to learn how to write in iambic pentameter and to use end rhyme and alliteration, not to mention using other rhythms, sound patterns, and poetic forms, there would be many fewer poets in the world — and far, far fewer bad poets as a result.

This doesn't mean that all free verse poetry is bad, of course. Nor does it mean that all traditional verse is good, either. While free verse is easy to write, it's extremely difficult to master. And in order to master it, you will more likely than not have to learn such things as how to write in iambic, trochaic, and other rhythms, how to write sonnets, ghazals, and other poetic forms, and learn to pay attention to rhyme, assonance, and other sounds. You will have to have created a poetic foundation to create more masterful free verse poems.

Even if you learn all of these aspects of poetry, though, it's still more likely than not that you'll end up being a bad poet. There's more to writing poetry than form. There has to be interesting content as well. And I hate to tell you, but you're probably not very interesting. You probably think basically the same things about friends and family and life as everyone else. This is precisely where free verse shows its weakness. After all, if you are writing what are essentially prose sentences with line breaks, you're just going to say whatever comes first to mind.

Unfortunately, whatever comes first to mind is likely to be what come first to most minds. How do you fix that. Well, you might stop and try to think about whatever comes second to mind — and if that seems too common, think of whatever comes third to mind. However, if you write rhyming verse, you can actually force yourself to come up with more interesting things simply because you have to find the rhyme. The same is true of writing in a regular rhythm. The next word has to fit the rhythm, and if you need a stressed syllable, then the word that first came to mind may not work. If you have to come up with a rhyme in the next sentence, you may not be able to write the next line that first came to mind. You'll find yourself forced to find other words, other phrases, other ways of thinking.

In the best situations, the poem will actually end up writing itself, so to speak. This admittedly happens more often the more practice you have writing structured verse. In fact, you will probably find that most of your early poems you attempt in, say, iambic pentameter, are not going to be very good at all. It takes a lot of very bad verse to learn how to write iambic pentameter lines well — or at all. But with practice, you will find that, eventually, you'll be able to write in iambic pentameter almost without thinking about it. When you reach that point, it's important to challenge yourself further — try different rhythms, try different rhyme schemes, try alliterative verse, try different forms.

As you learn to write in different forms, you will find that you can only say certain things in those forms. Writing in blank verse only is very restrictive — it only allows you to say certain things in certain ways. Sonnets allow for another way of saying things, and different kinds of sonnets — Shakespearean vs. Petrarchan, for example — further allow different ways of saying those things. A ghazal creates new ways of saying things that a sonnet cannot. One could go on and on. You could take the same theme, write about that theme in a variety of forms, and you will find you will say very different things in each form. You may even say opposite things. You may even find yourself surprising yourself about what you think, or where the form will take you.

It's when you've mastered a variety of forms, when you've mastered various rhythms and rhyme, that you begin to feel yourself not driving the writing of your poems anymore, but feeling more like you're pulled. This is the feeling the ancient Greeks called inspiration by the Muses. The Muses are the children of Memory and Zeus (God), showing the Greeks understood that having a head full of knowledge was just as important as enthusiasm (which literally means "filled with God") and inspiration (which means "filled with divine spirit). The Muses come to you when you are prepared for them. Before the Muses visit you, your poetry will always feel pushed, forced, and your themes will likely be unpoetic themes — politics, social issues, and other temporary things. Bad poems are poems of their time, only able to be fully understood in their time. Great poems transcend time, are sometimes even untimely. You'll never write those poems until you reach the point where the Muses come to visit.

What causes the Muses to visit? I have already mentioned preparing yourself by learning various poetic structures and forms — not just in your culture, but from other cultures as well. The other thing I suggested in the paragraph above is knowledge — a wide range of knowledge. If you don't know much, you won't have much to write about. Ignorance doesn't create mystery — and a little learning only creates arrogance — the great poets know so much that they reach the point of despairing of ever knowing anything.

It is at this point that you begin to reach wisdom, which is also a necessary condition to be a great poet. The combination of knowledge and wisdom — of variety and unity — is beauty, and this brings us into the realm of the arts, of poetry. The poet, to be a great poet, is interested in creating works of great beauty. Until you realize that poetry is about beauty, about the creation of beauty in the world, you cannot be a great poet, a good poet, or even a mediocre poet. You can only ever be a bad poet.

The world is full of bad poets — bad poets writing about superficial, temporary topics like politics, bad poets ignorant of economics and neuroscience and quantum physics and any number of other things (you don't have to know about all of these things of course — but you have to know something! — and you don't get to write about anything about which you are ignorant!!!), bad poets without the skill to do anything but write bad free verse poetry, poets without the skill to do anything but write terrible sonnets, bad poets without an ounce of wisdom, bad poets writing only about themselves. The world is full of bad poets. We need to start working to become good poets for a change.

It's hard work to be a good poet, and that's why many people don't want to do it. It's easy to write mediocre free verse, but it's difficult to write mediocre iambic pentameter. So why not write mediocre free verse? That is, after all, what most people end up doing.

But you should ask yourself:

Why do you want to be a bad poet?

Hello,

More of my philosophy about another important arab proverb and more..

I am a white arab, and i think i am smart since i have also
invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms..

I think there is another old arab proverb that makes you understand my
way of doing, and here it is:

"It's better to turn on a light than to curse the darkness"

"Il est préférable d'allumer une lumière que de maudire les ténèbres"

I think that it is a smart proverb that says that since humanity
or our modern world come with so many "imperfections" that bring too much or a lot of "darkness"(that means "les ténèbres" in french), the most important part that has a very high weight of importance and priority is the fact that we have to be constructive and we have to be much more organized by for example being good creativity and being much more educated and much more professional so that to solve our problems. So we have to be this kind of proactivity as i am doing it here.

More of my philosophy about the philosophy of the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer and more..

I think i am smart, and i have just looked at the following video about
the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, i invite you to look at it:

What If The World is Actually a Prison? | The Philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NBrce-ZHi0

So as you have just noticed i have just talked about the philosophy of Letting Go of Taoism and about the philosopher Confucius, read about it in my below thoughts, and now i will talk about the Philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer, I think that the main important weakness of the Philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer, it is that he was too pessimistic about human life, but he is not right by being so, since i have invented a proverb so that you understand my philosophy, and here it is:

Here is my other new proverb in english and french:

Voici mon nouveau proverbe en français et en anglais:

"La stabilité s'obtient avec la force de la perfection,
car quand vous devenez plus parfait vous augmentez
vos forces et donc vous résistez mieux aux instabilités,
et je pense que ceci est comme une loi de la moralité"

"Stability is obtained with the force of perfection,
because when you become more perfect you increase
your strenghts , then you better resist instabilities,
and I think this is like a law of Morality"

So as you are noticing that my proverb above is also saying that
by becoming more and more perfect you also easy more and more
the hard work by the process of reusability of your intelligence and
your experience etc. and you better and better resist instabilities, so i think that it shows that the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer was too pessimistic, and it also shows that the way of my philosophy below
is right, so i invite you to read it again carefully so that to understand:

More of my philosophy about hate and about our humanity and more..

I think that you can be hate that is negative energy,
but my way of doing is not hate, since my way of doing is about the positive energy that you have to have, and i am talking about it
below, since i am understanding that the problem is that our world
is lacking much on organization since it is lacking much on education and experience, it is why my philosophy is also greatly about how to be
efficiently creative.., since the most important thing is that i have to talk about the "mechanisms" that bring the necessary qualities, and so that to understand my way of doing, you can read my following poem that shows much more my kind of spirit or my kind of way of doing:

Here is my new poem:

--

What is it to be bad ?

It is what makes us sad

So is natural selection only about your "individual" dad ?

So what is it this beautiful notepad ?

It is the organized like a beautiful mathematical olympiad !

So are you still talking about the communist Stalingrad ?

Since are you not noticing the how you can be glad ?

So does it come from the city of Riyadh or the capital of Tchad?

And are you wanting just to be like a disorganized old nomad ?

So i ask why do we have to organize it with sophistication as the Mossad ?

Since are you wanting to be just an undergrad ?

So are you not understanding much better what is it to be bad ?

--

More of my philosophy about human existence and about my philosophy and more..

I think i am smart, and i think i am a wise type of person,
and i think i am a philosopher, so as you have just noticed, i have
just said that the letting Go philosophy of Taoism from China doesn't work, and read about it in my below thoughts, so i think that even the philosopher Confucius was not so efficient, since he was mainly
interested in how to construct a society, but he was lacking on
philosophy about the psychology of the individuals in a society, i mean
he was lacking on how for example to construct a strong individual self or spirit that is self-confident, so now i will be more precise about my philosophy, so as i am saying below that I think that it is from the power of the "mind" from where comes happiness, since the mind can be "free" and much more powerful by using philosophical mechanisms as my philosophical mechanisms below, but i have to be more precise so that you understand: What i mean is happiness comes from a kind of positive energy that gives hope and optimism that can give self-confidence, so
as you notice that there is many imperfections even in our modern world, so the efficient solution is not to become nihilistic or disorganized as such by looking at those many imperfections of our modern world, but you have to know how to be more and more organized and more and more civilized, so i think this kind of positive energy comes
greatly from the process of creativity, i mean that you you have to start to be creative and when you create something more interesting, you start to construct yourself and your ego, so it is a positive energy, but this positive energy is not sufficient, so then you have "incrementally" to say in your mind that since you can create something more interesting then you can create other interesting things too, so you can continu incrementally to create more and more interesting things by using the process of creativity, so i think that this gives much more positive energy and hope that permits you to become self-confident and optimistic, and not only that, but by going more and more incrementally in this kind of way, you have to "diversify" your requirements that permit you to be much more efficiently creative so that to lower the risks of failure, so this permits you to be much more strong, also you have to be a kind of hope in our the future of our humanity as i am explaining it in my below thoughts of my philosophy by talking about our exponential progress of our humanity etc., and of course it is my way of constructing my digital identity so that to be the good business, so
as you are noticing i am taking care a lot of my digital identity too so that to be the good business, since for example i have
followed the same kind of way by creating interesting things like
my open source projects, and look for example at my first
three open source projects that i call StringTree and Parallel compression Library and my Parallel varfiler so that to notice, since they also permit me to construct my digital identity, so here is the first projects that i have created:

Here is my StringTree open source project:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/stringtree

And here is my Parallel Compression open source project:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/parallel-compression-library

And here is my Parallel varfiler:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/scalable-parallel-varfiler

And of course i have created many open source software projects,
and you can download them from here:

More of my philosophy about the Taoism philosophy and the letting Go and more..

I think i am smart and i think i am a wise type of person,
and i invite you to look at the following video of a black guy:

How to get the utmost abundance mindset

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keMxDq4dess

I think the above black guy is not smart, since he is by
his behavior following the Letting Go philosophy of Taoism from China
that is not efficient, since he is saying on the above video
that he is not giving a shit about what is saying people about his "status" in society, but it is not the wise way since we are not "isolated" from people, so since we are living inside a society and interacting with people so then we are comparing our status etc. so we can be hurt, so we become less confident or more confident so then the Letting Go philosophy is not realistic or pragmatic, so i think that the Letting Go philosophy of Taoism doesn't work. It is why i have just invented my below philosophy so that you be equipped with some powerful mechanisms of my philosophy, and i will add the following important mechanism to my philosophy and it is that you have in your requirements of being creativity to know how to be "more" diversified so that to lower much more the risks. And here is the other black guy that is not so smart with his motivational videos:

More of my philosophy about specialization and self-confidence and more..

I think i am smart, and i have just looked at some videos of the following black guy that is creating motivational videos:

TRUE DOG MENTALITY - The Most Motivational Video | David Goggins

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JMAgzKvlIY

And i think that he is not talking so smartly, but i think he
is wanting to become self-confidence by being "specialization" in also
what you do better, like the specialization in economy that is the process wherein a company or individual decides to focus their labor on a specific type of production and that enhances much more productivity, but i think that his views on his videos of how to be self-confidence are not so efficient, since i say that specialization alone is not sufficient, since i think that you have to know how to transcend this weakness by for example knowing how to a kind intellectual superiority that is creative in a kind sophisticated manner that brings self-confidence, and it is what i am doing by inventing my thoughts of my philosophy and my poems of Love and by inventing many scalable algorithms and algorithms and by inventing some powerful software tools etc. and here is my following two proverbs that show this kind of doing:

Here is my new proverb:

"Being strong can become being weak by containing a small weak part that
makes you weak, and being weak can become being strong by containing a
small strong part of great weight of importance that makes you strong"

Here is my other new proverb:

"When you want to construct a much better version of yourself so
that to become successful, there is the first way of the hard working
way, but the hard working way is not the efficient and smart way, this
is why you can construct a much better version of yourself
by being some creative thinking and by being exponential thinking and by
using the exponential progress and growth brought by digitalization to
sell on internet your product or service from this some creative
thinking so that to be successful, so as you notice that this shows that
we have to be positive about our world, and this shows that my following
proverb is truth that actually says the following: The being weak can
become being strong by containing a small strong part of great weight of
importance that makes you strong, since the some creative thinking is a
small part of great weight of importance that makes you strong, since it
is not only capital and talents that make you successful, but it is also
some creative ideas that makes the great Capital that makes you
successful and the great capital that attracts talents that makes you
much more successful than successful."

And read all my other new proverbs in the following web link:

https://groups.google.com/g/alt.culture.morocco/c/ZyUvFt_nix8

Here is also one important proverb of mine about Resourcefulness that permits you to understand it:

"Resourcefulness is one of the most important things, and it is a skill,
and the good news is: this skill can be learned and mastered, and
resourcefulness is attained only when we combine the resourceful mindset
and skills, so we have to filter out some of the most useful resources
that help us, and resourcefulness is also to know who/what to look for
and what to ask, and when ressourcefulness is attained this becomes an
engine that permits you to have hope and to be energetic and to be
positive in doing what you are doing, since resourcefulness also permits
to easy the jobs for you."

More of my philosophy about the future and about digital identity and more..

I think i am smart and i think i am a wise type of person,
and i am really optimistic about our modern era of digital economy,
and i also think that you have to take care of your digital identity
,as i am doing it, so that to be the good business, but i have to be frank since i am showing two things, the first thing is that i know how to be Love by inventing my poems of Love, since notice how i am also naturally or genetically made as my poems of Love, i mean that i look like my poems of Love, since i also mean that notice how my poems of Love with there kind of "sensibility" are much more precisely tuned or balanced in a more sophisticated manner, and i think that it needs a kind of "precision" of the "language" of the heart or of Love, since
writing poems of Love like i am doing is like talking the language of the heart or the language of Love, and that's really show my kind of sensibility and my kind of personality, so let us rapidly take a look at how i have quickly invented the following poem of Love:

Here is my new poem of Love:

--

Seeing you across this beautiful street

It is how we want to beautifully meet

Seeing you across this beautiful street

Since you are the beautiful and sweet

Since my beautiful heart is coming to you as an athlete

Seeing you across this beautiful street

It is as i am listening to your beautiful heartbeat

Seeing you across this beautiful street

So am i the beautiful Love or am i the Islamic sunnite ?

Seeing you across this beautiful street

So this is how our Love is so beautiful and concrete

---

So as you are noticing i am not lying since you are noticing from
my poem of Love above how i am this kind of precision of the language
of the heart or the language of Love, and of course i invite you to read
all my poems of Love below so that you notice it more.

The second important thing is that i am taking care of my digital identity in the other kind of way, since i am wanting to "organize" much more my thoughts of my philosophy in a beautiful kind of digital book,
and that's good for business, and as you have just noticed, i have just talked about more about it by saying the following:

More of my philosophy about digital or electronic books and more..

I think i am smart, and i have just finished my programming of a project that easy for you to make electronic or digital books with HTML and Javascript and CSS, now it consists of a sophisticated "Tree menu" that will show the indexes of the digital or electronic book that will appear on the left of the screen in a left HTML frame, also i have just thought about my design and i think that here is how i will show the HTML with CSS pages of the the digital or electronic book: First i have to include in the HTML pages of the digital book the following in HTML:

The Polo Neck/Turtle Neck

Polo neck
Not to be confused with polo shirt.

A polo neck, roll-neck[1] (United Kingdom, South Africa), turtleneck (United States, Canada), or skivvy (Australia, New Zealand, United States) is a garment—usually a sweater—with a close-fitting collar that folds over and covers the neck. It can also refer to the type of neckline, the style of collar itself, or be used as an adjective ("polo necked").

A simpler variant of the standard polo neck is the mock polo neck (or mock turtleneck), that resembles the polo neck with the soft fold at its top and the way it stands up around the neck, but both ends of the tube forming the collar are sewn to the neckline. This is mainly used to achieve the appearance of a polo neck where the fabric would fray, roll, or otherwise behave badly unless sewn. The mock polo neck clings to the neck smoothly, is easy to manufacture, and works well with a zip closure.

History

Europe
Turtle neck–like garments have been worn for hundreds of years, dating at least to the 15th century. They were originally designed to protect the necks of knights wearing chainmail. Royalty adopted high-neck fashion, with the height and volume of the neck ruffle indicating status.[2]

From the late 19th century on, polo necks were commonly worn by fishermen, manual workers, athletes, sailors and naval officers.[3] In the early part of the 20th century the black polo neck was typical attire of Oswald Mosley, leader of British Union of Fascists ("Blackshirts"), though since the middle of that century black polo necks have been closely associated with leftist radical academics, philosophers, artists and intellectuals.[4][5] The polo neck jumper became an iconic symbol of the French philosopher Michel Foucault.[6] Polo necks also became a big fashion for wealthy young men after they were worn by European film stars Marcello Mastroianni and Yves Montand.[7]

Greta Garbo often wore polo necks and trousers privately, as later Audrey Hepburn would do in official photographs.

Vladimir Putin[8] of Russia, Andreas Papandreou[9] of Greece, and Emmanuel Macron[10] of France are examples of European leaders who are fond of wearing polo necks.

United States
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries the high neckline blouse became a fashionable option for young women as part of the emergence of the Gibson Girl.[11] Their adoption by Noël Coward in the 1920s turned polo necks into a brief middle-class fashion trend, and feminists made them into a unisex item. Absorbed into mainstream American fashion by the mid 20th century, the polo neck came to be viewed as an anti-tie, a smart form of dress for those who rejected formal wear. Senator Ted Kennedy, pianist/conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy, conductor Seiji Ozawa, philosopher Michel Foucault, shipping tycoon Stavros Niarchos, singer Barry Manilow, scientist Carl Sagan, Oracle Corporation co-founder Larry Ellison, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, and Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs were among those often seen in polo necks.[12]

Over time it became a fad among teenage girls, especially in a lightweight form that emphasised their figures. It was not long before Hollywood was also exploiting this image as part of the sweater girl look.

By the late 1950s the "tight turtleneck" had been adopted as part of the preppy style among students, a style emphasising neatness, tidiness and grooming. This would become an important aspect of the polo neck's image in the United States. The look would filter through to Britain and the rest of Europe in a watered-down version.

Very elegant polo necks of silk or nylon knit, especially made with French cuffs for formal dress affairs, have also seen success in American fashion.[13]

Hello,

More of my philosophy about the philosophy of the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer and more..

I am a white arab, and i think i am smart since i have also
invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms..

And here is the other black guy that is not so smart with his motivational videos:

More of my philosophy about specialization and self-confidence and more..

I think i am smart, and i have just looked at some videos of the following black guy that is creating motivational videos:

And i think that he is not talking so smartly, but i think he

Here is my other new proverb:

"When you want to construct a much better version of yourself so

is why you can construct a much better version of yourself

much more successful than successful."

And read all my other new proverbs in the following web link:

Here is also one important proverb of mine about Resourcefulness that permits you to understand it:

"Resourcefulness is one of the most important things, and it is a skill,
and the good news is: this skill can be learned and mastered, and
resourcefulness is attained only when we combine the resourceful mindset

Seeing you across this beautiful street

It is how we want to beautifully meet

Seeing you across this beautiful street

Since you are the beautiful and sweet

Since my beautiful heart is coming to you as an athlete

Seeing you across this beautiful street

So am i the beautiful Love or am i the Islamic sunnite ?

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="mystyle.css">

And the mystyle.css "CSS" file will contain the following so that
the HTML pages of the digital book appears correctly in different screen resolutions:

mystyle.css file is:

body
{
font-size: 1.3vw;
}

So as you are noticing i am using "font-size: 1.3vw" , since the
right HTML frame that contains the HTML pages of the book is 3/4 the size,and here is how i am constructing the HTML frames of the digital book so that to notice it:

So notice that it is: "FRAMESET cols="25%,*", so it means that
the left HTML frame of the digital book is 1/4 of

Hamlet Act 1 Scene 3

SCENE III. A room in Polonius' house.
Enter LAERTES and OPHELIA
LAERTES
My necessaries are embark'd: farewell:
And, sister, as the winds give benefit
And convoy is assistant, do not sleep,
But let me hear from you.
OPHELIA
Do you doubt that?
LAERTES
For Hamlet and the trifling of his favour,
Hold it a fashion and a toy in blood,
A violet in the youth of primy nature,
Forward, not permanent, sweet, not lasting,
The perfume and suppliance of a minute; No more.
OPHELIA
No more but so?
LAERTES
Think it no more;
For nature, crescent, does not grow alone
In thews and bulk, but, as this temple waxes,
The inward service of the mind and soul
Grows wide withal. Perhaps he loves you now,
And now no soil nor cautel doth besmirch
The virtue of his will: but you must fear,
His greatness weigh'd, his will is not his own;
For he himself is subject to his birth:
He may not, as unvalued persons do,
Carve for himself; for on his choice depends
The safety and health of this whole state;
And therefore must his choice be circumscribed
Unto the voice and yielding of that body
Whereof he is the head. Then if he says he loves you,
It fits your wisdom so far to believe it
As he in his particular act and place
May give his saying deed; which is no further
Than the main voice of Denmark goes withal.
Then weigh what loss your honour may sustain,
If with too credent ear you list his songs,
Or lose your heart, or your chaste treasure open
To his unmaster'd importunity.
Fear it, Ophelia, fear it, my dear sister,
And keep you in the rear of your affection,
Out of the shot and danger of desire.
The chariest maid is prodigal enough,
If she unmask her beauty to the moon:
Virtue itself 'scapes not calumnious strokes:
The canker galls the infants of the spring,
Too oft before their buttons be disclosed,
And in the morn and liquid dew of youth
Contagious blastments are most imminent.
Be wary then; best safety lies in fear:
Youth to itself rebels, though none else near.
OPHELIA
I shall the effect of this good lesson keep,
As watchman to my heart. But, good my brother,
Do not, as some ungracious pastors do,
Show me the steep and thorny way to heaven;
Whiles, like a puff'd and reckless libertine,
Himself the primrose path of dalliance treads,
And recks not his own rede.
LAERTES
O, fear me not.
I stay too long: but here my father comes.
Enter POLONIUS

A double blessing is a double grace,
Occasion smiles upon a second leave.
LORD POLONIUS
Yet here, Laertes! aboard, aboard, for shame!
The wind sits in the shoulder of your sail,
And you are stay'd for. There; my blessing with thee!
And these few precepts in thy memory
See thou character. Give thy thoughts no tongue,
Nor any unproportioned thought his act.
Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar.
Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried,
Grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel;
But do not dull thy palm with entertainment
Of each new-hatch'd, unfledged comrade. Beware
Of entrance to a quarrel, but being in,
Bear't that the opposed may beware of thee.
Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice;
Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment.
Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy,
But not express'd in fancy; rich, not gaudy;
For the apparel oft proclaims the man,
And they in France of the best rank and station
Are of a most select and generous chief in that.
Neither a borrower nor a lender be;
For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
This above all: to thine ownself be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell: my blessing season this in thee!
LAERTES
Most humbly do I take my leave, my lord.
LORD POLONIUS
The time invites you; go; your servants tend.
LAERTES
Farewell, Ophelia; and remember well
What I have said to you.
OPHELIA
'Tis in my memory lock'd,
And you yourself shall keep the key of it.
LAERTES
Farewell.
Exit

LORD POLONIUS
What is't, Ophelia, be hath said to you?
OPHELIA
So please you, something touching the Lord Hamlet.
LORD POLONIUS
Marry, well bethought:
'Tis told me, he hath very oft of late
Given private time to you; and you yourself
Have of your audience been most free and bounteous:
If it be so, as so 'tis put on me,
And that in way of caution, I must tell you,
You do not understand yourself so clearly
As it behoves my daughter and your honour.
What is between you? give me up the truth.
OPHELIA
He hath, my lord, of late made many tenders
Of his affection to me.
LORD POLONIUS
Affection! pooh! you speak like a green girl,
Unsifted in such perilous circumstance.
Do you believe his tenders, as you call them?
OPHELIA
I do not know, my lord, what I should think.
LORD POLONIUS
Marry, I'll teach you: think yourself a baby;
That you have ta'en these tenders for true pay,
Which are not sterling. Tender yourself more dearly;
Or--not to crack the wind of the poor phrase,
Running it thus--you'll tender me a fool.
OPHELIA
My lord, he hath importuned me with love
In honourable fashion.
LORD POLONIUS
Ay, fashion you may call it; go to, go to.
OPHELIA
And hath given countenance to his speech, my lord,
With almost all the holy vows of heaven.
LORD POLONIUS
Ay, springes to catch woodcocks. I do know,
When the blood burns, how prodigal the soul
Lends the tongue vows: these blazes, daughter,
Giving more light than heat, extinct in both,
Even in their promise, as it is a-making,
You must not take for fire. From this time
Be somewhat scanter of your maiden presence;
Set your entreatments at a higher rate
Than a command to parley. For Lord Hamlet,
Believe so much in him, that he is young
And with a larger tether may he walk
Than may be given you: in few, Ophelia,
Do not believe his vows; for they are brokers,
Not of that dye which their investments show,
But mere implorators of unholy suits,
Breathing like sanctified and pious bawds,
The better to beguile. This is for all:
I would not, in plain terms, from this time forth,
Have you so slander any moment leisure,
As to give words or talk with the Lord Hamlet.
Look to't, I charge you: come your ways.
OPHELIA
I shall obey, my lord.

Hello,

More of my philosophy about hate and about our humanity and more..

I am a white arab, and i think i am smart since i have also
invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms..

And of course i have created many open source software projects,
and you can download them from here:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="mystyle.css">
</head>

And the mystyle.css "CSS" file will contain the following so that
the HTML pages of the digital book appears correctly in different screen resolutions:

mystyle.css file is:

body
{
font-size: 1.3vw;
}

So as you are noticing i am using "font-size: 1.3vw" , since the
right HTML frame that contains the HTML pages of the book is 3/4 the size,and here is how i am constructing the HTML frames of the digital book so that to notice it:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>A frameset document</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET>
<FRAMESET cols="25%,*" frameborder="yes" framespacing=1>
<FRAME name="frame1" src="example01.html" scrolling="auto">
<FRAME name="frame2" src="poems1.html" scrolling="auto">
<Frame scrolling="auto">
</FRAMESET>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

So notice that it is: "FRAMESET cols="25%,*", so it means that
the left HTML frame of the digital book is 1/4 of the size and
the right HTML frame is 3/4 of the size.

And i will show you more the sophisticated "Tree menu" that will show the indexes of the digital book, so stay tuned since i will start to organize my thoughts of my philosophy and my other thoughts
of software computing etc. into my above form of a digital book.

I think i am smart, and i think that my form of digital or electronic book is scalable since you can go from the a main sophisticated "Tree menu" to other childs of sophisticated "Tree menus" inside the left HTML frame of the digital book, so i think it is also a powerful and sophisticated kind of digital book, so i have thought fast this project of mine and i have designed it fast, but also you have to know that the sophisticated "Tree menu" that shows in the left HTML frame of the digital book has not to use the same CSS configuration as the right HTML frame with: "font-size: 1.3vw", since i think that the fonts of the sophisticated "Tree menu" must be fixed fonts size so that to permit to
scroll the left HTML frame correctly etc.

And here is my philosophy of why i am organizing my thoughts in
a digital book:

More of my philosophy about making paper from trees and about deforestation and more..

I invite you to read the following article about the environmental footprint of paper vs. electronic books:

https://www.anthropocenemagazine.org/2020/08/the-environmental-footprint-of-paper-vs-electronic-books/

And as you notice that the above article is just speaking about
how much green house emissions we have with footprint of paper vs. electronic books, but i think that deforestation does not only
cause green house emissions, but i think we have to take into account the the other following disadvantages:

The disadvantages to deforestation are an increased amount of carbon dioxide emissions and soil erosion as well as the

It's not death itself that's so bad. It's what you might have to go through to get there. No horror film I've seen inflicts more terrible things on its victims than "The Human Centipede." You would have to be very brave to choose this ordeal over simply being murdered. Maybe you'd need to also be insane.

I'm about to describe what happens to the film's victims. This will be a spoiler. I don't care, because (1) the details are common knowledge in horror film circles, and (2) if you don't know, you may be grateful to be warned. This is a movie I don't think I should be coy about.

OK. Dr. Heiter is a mad scientist. He was once a respected surgeon, but has now retreated to his luxurious home in the German forest, which contains an operating room in the basement. His skin has a sickly pallor, his hair is dyed black, his speech reminds us of a standard Nazi, and he gnashes his teeth. He is filled with hatred and vile perversion.

He drugs his victims and dumps them into his Mercedes. When they regain consciousness, they find themselves tied to hospital beds. He provides them with a little slide show to brief them on his plans. He will demonstrate his skills as a surgeon by — hey, listen, now you'd really better stop reading. What's coming next isn't so much a review as a public service announcement.

Heiter plans to surgically join his victims by sewing together their mouths and anuses, all in a row, so the food goes in at the front and comes out at the rear. They will move on their hands and knees like an insect. You don't want to be part of the Human Centipede at all, but you most certainly don't want to be in the middle. Why does he want to commit this atrocity? He is insane, as I've already explained.

He also wants to do it because he is in a movie by Tom Six, a Dutch director whose previous two films average 4 out of 10 on the IMDb.com scale, which is a score so low very few directors attain it. Six has now made a film deliberately intended to inspire incredulity, nausea and hopefully outrage. It's being booked as a midnight movie, and is it ever. Boozy fanboys will treat it like a thrill ride.

And yet within Six, there stirs the soul of a dark artist. He treats his material with utter seriousness; there's none of the jokey undertone of a classic Hammer horror film like "Scream … and Scream Again" (1970), in which every time the victim awoke, another limb had been amputated. That one starred the all-star trio of Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, and you could see they were having fun. Dieter Laser, who plays Dr. Heiter, takes the role with relentless sincerity. This is his 63rd acting role, but, poor guy, is seemingly the one he was born to play.

Tom Six is apparently the director's real name. I learn his favorite actor is Klaus Kinski, he is an AK-47 enthusiast, and wears RAF sunglasses and Panama hats. Not the kind of guy you want to share your seat on a Ferris wheel. He has said, "I get a rash from too much political correctness." I promise you that after this movie, his skin was smooth as a Gerber baby's.

I have long attempted to take a generic approach. In other words, is a film true to its genre and does it deliver what its audiences presumably expect? "The Human Centipede" scores high on this scale. It is depraved and disgusting enough to satisfy the most demanding midnight movie fan. And it's not simply an exploitation film.

The director makes, for example, effective use of the antiseptic interior of Heiter's labyrinthine home. Doors and corridors lead nowhere and anywhere. In a scene where the police come calling, Six wisely has Heiter almost encourage their suspicions. And there is a scene toward the end, as the Human Centipede attempts escape, that's so piteous, it transcends horror and approaches tragedy.

The members of the Centipede are Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie and Akihiro Kitamura. The Japanese actor screams in subtitled Japanese, perhaps because he will broaden the film's appeal among Asian horror fans. In the film's last half, the two actresses don't scream at all, if you follow me.

I am required to award stars to movies I review. This time, I refuse to do it. The star rating system is unsuited to this film. Is the movie good? Is it bad? Does it matter? It is what it is and occupies a world where the stars don't shine.

The Eyes Have It, by Philip K. Dick

It was quite by accident I discovered this incredible invasion of Earth by lifeforms from another planet. As yet, I haven't done anything about it; I can't think of anything to do. I wrote to the Government, and they sent back a pamphlet on the repair and maintenance of frame houses. Anyhow, the whole thing is known; I'm not the first to discover it. Maybe it's even under control.

I was sitting in my easy-chair, idly turning the pages of a paperbacked book someone had left on the bus, when I came across the reference that first put me on the trail. For a moment I didn't respond. It took some time for the full import to sink in. After I'd comprehended, it seemed odd I hadn't noticed it right away.

The reference was clearly to a nonhuman species of incredible properties, not indigenous to Earth. A species, I hasten to point out, customarily masquerading as ordinary human beings. Their disguise, however, became transparent in the face of the following observations by the author. It was at once obvious the author knew everything. Knew everything--and was taking it in his stride. The line (and I tremble remembering it even now) read:

...his eyes slowly roved about the room.

Vague chills assailed me. I tried to picture the eyes. Did they roll like dimes? The passage indicated not; they seemed to move through the air, not over the surface. Rather rapidly, apparently. No one in the story was surprised. That's what tipped me off. No sign of amazement at such an outrageous thing. Later the matter was amplified.

...his eyes moved from person to person.

There it was in a nutshell. The eyes had clearly come apart from the rest of him and were on their own. My heart pounded and my breath choked in my windpipe. I had stumbled on an accidental mention of a totally unfamiliar race. Obviously non-Terrestrial. Yet, to the characters in the book, it was perfectly natural--which suggested they belonged to the same species.

And the author? A slow suspicion burned in my mind. The author was taking it rather too easily in his stride. Evidently, he felt this was quite a usual thing. He made absolutely no attempt to conceal this knowledge. The story continued:

...presently his eyes fastened on Julia.

Julia, being a lady, had at least the breeding to feel indignant. She is described as blushing and knitting her brows angrily. At this, I sighed with relief. They weren't all non-Terrestrials. The narrative continues:

...slowly, calmly, his eyes examined every inch of her.

Great Scott! But here the girl turned and stomped off and the matter ended. I lay back in my chair gasping with horror. My wife and family regarded me in wonder.

"What's wrong, dear?" my wife asked.

I couldn't tell her. Knowledge like this was too much for the ordinary run-of-the-mill person. I had to keep it to myself. "Nothing," I gasped. I leaped up, snatched the book, and hurried out of the room.

*****

In the garage, I continued reading. There was more. Trembling, I read the next revealing passage:

...he put his arm around Julia. Presently she asked him if he would remove his arm. He immediately did so, with a smile.

It's not said what was done with the arm after the fellow had removed it. Maybe it was left standing upright in the corner. Maybe it was thrown away. I don't care. In any case, the full meaning was there, staring me right in the face.

Here was a race of creatures capable of removing portions of their anatomy at will. Eyes, arms--and maybe more. Without batting an eyelash. My knowledge of biology came in handy, at this point. Obviously they were simple beings, uni-cellular, some sort of primitive single-celled things. Beings no more developed than starfish. Starfish can do the same thing, you know.

I read on. And came to this incredible revelation, tossed off coolly by the author without the faintest tremor:

...outside the movie theater we split up. Part of us went inside, part over to the cafe for dinner.

Binary fission, obviously. Splitting in half and forming two entities. Probably each lower half went to the cafe, it being farther, and the upper halves to the movies. I read on, hands shaking. I had really stumbled onto something here. My mind reeled as I made out this passage:

...I'm afraid there's no doubt about it. Poor Bibney has lost his head again.

Which was followed by:

...and Bob says he has utterly no guts.

Yet Bibney got around as well as the next person. The next person, however, was just as strange. He was soon described as:

...totally lacking in brains.

*****

There was no doubt of the thing in the next passage. Julia, whom I had thought to be the one normal person, reveals herself as also being an alien life form, similar to the rest:

...quite deliberately, Julia had given her heart to the young man.

It didn't relate what the final disposition of the organ was, but I didn't really care. It was evident Julia had gone right on living in her usual manner, like all the others in the book. Without heart, arms, eyes, brains, viscera, dividing up in two when the occasion demanded. Without a qualm.

...thereupon she gave him her hand.

I sickened. The rascal now had her hand, as well as her heart. I shudder to think what he's done with them, by this time.

...he took her arm.

Not content to wait, he had to start dismantling her on his own. Flushing crimson, I slammed the book shut and leaped to my feet. But not in time to escape one last reference to those carefree bits of anatomy whose travels had originally thrown me on the track:

...her eyes followed him all the way down the road and across the meadow.

I rushed from the garage and back inside the warm house, as if the accursed things were following me. My wife and children were playing Monopoly in the kitchen. I joined them and played with frantic fervor, brow feverish, teeth chattering.

I had had enough of the thing. I want to hear no more about it. Let them come on. Let them invade Earth. I don't want to get mixed up in it.

I have absolutely no stomach for it.

Why you shouldn't eat your boogers

Narrator: Odds are you are surrounded by nose-pickers. It's true.

In one study, 91% of adults admitted to picking their nose regularly. So chances are you've probably mined for some juicy nose nuggets yourself.

But maybe you didn't stop there. Maybe you ate those boogers too!

And it turns out, that slimy snack could hurt more than just your social standing.

Let's take a closer look at that booger. It's mostly made of water, gel-like proteins that give it that gooey consistency and special immune proteins that fight off germs. Those immune proteins are especially useful because boogers are teeming with harmful viruses, like influenza.

That's the whole point, actually. Boogers serve as your body's front-line defense against invading germs. When you breathe in, you're not just inhaling air. You're also taking in bacteria, viruses, and dirt. Which get trapped by a layer of sticky snot that lines your nostrils. It's like fly paper for the flu. And as you continue to breathe, air hardens the mucus into a solid booger, a gooey prison cell for your ensnared enemies. Now, normally, you can get rid of that bacteria-ridden ball either when you sneeze or blow your nose.

But if you decide to eat it instead, it stands to reason that you're putting yourself at risk of infection. Because as your body digests the booger, it can release those harmful pathogens into your system.

Now, some people claim that eating your boogers can strengthen your immune system. By training your body to recognize and attack invading microbes. But, sorry to say, there's zero scientific evidence to support any health benefits from eating your boogers.

And besides, whether or not you eat your boogers just getting ahold of them can be dangerous. For example, scratching up the inside of your nose opens the door for a nasty bacteria that lurks under your fingernails, Staphylococcus aureus.

A 2006 study found that nose-pickers were more likely to have Staph in their nose than those who abstain. And that's a big problem since Staph can cause serious abscesses or pus-filled pockets inside your nose and on your face. Even worse, if you keep picking you could actually puncture your septum.

In one case, a 53-year-old woman managed to carve a hole right through her sinus. And if that sinus becomes infected badly enough, it can erode your skull, leaving a door open for bacteria to march right into your brain.

To be fair, these are extreme scenarios. One time probably won't hurt you. The next time you feel the urge to mine for green gold, just grab a tissue.

Are you Paranoid?

What Is Paranoia?
Paranoia is the feeling that you're being threatened in some way, such as people watching you or acting against you, even though there's no proof that it's true. It happens to a lot of people at some point. Even when you know that your concerns aren't based in reality, they can be troubling if they happen too often.

Clinical paranoia is more severe. It's a rare mental health condition in which you believe that others are unfair, lying, or actively trying to harm you when there's no proof. You don't think you're paranoid at all because you feel sure it's true. As the old saying goes, "It isn't paranoia if they're really out to get you."

Anxiety vs. Paranoid Thoughts
A paranoid thought is a type of anxious thought. Anxiety can cause paranoia, affecting what you're paranoid about and how long the feeling lasts. But paranoid thoughts can also make you anxious.

It's normal to be anxious sometimes, especially if you're going through something hard like losing a job or the end of a relationship. When in large groups of people, you may worry that others will judge the things you say or the way you dress or behave. You might walk into a party by yourself and think, "Everyone is wondering why I'm alone."

Some call this paranoid, but we all have thoughts like this from time to time. Just because you're worried that people might be talking about you doesn't mean you have a mental illness. Clinical paranoia happens when you're 100% convinced of it, even when facts prove that it isn't true.

If you worry that your thoughts are paranoid, you probably have some anxiety rather than paranoia. If your anxiety isn't linked to anything obvious and it never seems to get better or go away, you may need to talk to a doctor about it. Feelings of anxiety and panic that last a long time or get in the way of your daily life might be signs of an anxiety disorder. Symptoms of paranoia may be more severe.

Symptoms of Paranoia
The symptoms of paranoia can include:

Being defensive, hostile, and aggressive
Being easily offended
Believing you are always right and having trouble relaxing or letting your guard down
Not being able to compromise, forgive, or accept criticism
Not being able to trust or confide in other people
Reading hidden meanings into people's normal behaviors

Causes of Paranoia
Too Little Sleep

A single restless night probably won't cause paranoid thoughts. But if you often go without sleep, it can start to take a toll. You might not think as clearly, and you're more likely to clash with others or have misunderstandings with them. It may start to look like people are working against you when they're just acting like they always do. If you go without sleep for long enough, you could even start to see and hear things that aren't there (your doctor will call them hallucinations).

Adults should shoot for 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night to stay alert and mentally healthy.

Stress

When the tension ratchets up in your life, you could start to feel more suspicious of other people. And the stress doesn't have to be something negative like illness or job loss. Even a happy occasion, like a wedding, can create a kind of stress that brings out paranoid thoughts along with the joy.

To help ease the tension, you can:

Take time to relax and try to forget about what's stressing you out
Spend time with friends
Find something to smile and laugh about
Get plenty of exercise
Meditate to clear your mind

Psychiatric Disorders

One condition, paranoid personality disorder, can make it hard to trust others. It can cause negative thoughts about people that just aren't true, like "They don't like me," "They're making fun of me," or even "They're plotting against me." In some cases, no amount of evidence will convince you otherwise. This can lead to true clinical paranoia. Though you might not believe every unrealistic thought that enters your head, you believe some of them.

Schizophrenia, another serious disorder, can make it hard to tell what's real and what's imagined. Most of the time, you simply don't know when your thoughts have become paranoid. Friends, loved ones, or medical professionals often have to point it out and try to help you get treatment.

Borderline personality disorder, in which you have fast emotional swings where you can worship someone one moment and hate them the next, can also cause paranoid thoughts and even clinical paranoia in some people.

Just because you feel paranoid or worry about what others think about you from time to time doesn't mean you have a psychiatric disorder. The fact that you know your thoughts don't make sense could be a sign of good mental health. But if these paranoid feelings happen all the time or start to get in the way of your home or work life, you might want to talk to your doctor or a mental health care provider.

Drug Use

Drugs like marijuana, hallucinogens (LSD, psychotropic mushrooms), and stimulants (cocaine, methamphetamine) have chemicals that make some people paranoid for short periods. Once the chemicals leave your system, the paranoia goes away, too. Days or weeks of intense alcohol abuse also can cause short-term paranoia, and over the long term, it can lead to ongoing paranoia and even hallucinations.

If paranoid thoughts are making you anxious or if you have minor symptoms of depression, drugs can make them much worse. In some people, they can trigger a psychiatric disorder with true clinical paranoia as a symptom.

Alcohol can also worsen paranoia. Plus, it makes us less inhibited, which makes it harder to control these feelings.

Memory Loss

Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, which are more likely as you age, can change your brain in ways that make you more suspicious of others. You might notice that a loved one with dementia starts to hide things like jewelry or money, or becomes convinced that people have bad intentions toward them. This is part of the disease. Their doctor might be able to help you manage these symptoms.

Paranoia Treatments
If you feel that you're losing touch with reality, a doctor or mental health professional is the best place to start. Because you can still tell that your thoughts aren't reasonable, there are things you can do to help.

To start with, it's important to eat a healthy balanced diet, exercise, and get plenty of sleep. All these things are part of a mental balance that can help keep paranoid thoughts at bay.

After that, it can actually help to talk to yourself about paranoid thoughts. This works only while you can still tell that your thoughts are not reasonable. Keep it realistic. Instead of thinking to yourself "I'm crazy" or "I'm paranoid," try something like: "I'm worried about something that's highly unlikely to be true."

Even if you don't have a mental illness, if your paranoid or irrational thoughts get in the way of doing things you want to do, talk to a social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Talk therapy or some kind of medication could help you feel better.

Often, people who feel paranoid don't get treatment because they don't realize their thoughts are unrealistic. If you're worried about a friend or family member, talk to a health professional or use a resource such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org, 800-950-NAMI) or the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (www.samhsa.gov/find-treatment, 800-662-HELP).

Hello,

More of my philosophy about human existence and about my philosophy and more..

I am a white arab, and i think i am smart since i have also
invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms..

I think i am smart, and i think i am a wise type of person,
and i think i am a philosopher, so as you have just noticed, i have
just said that the letting Go philosophy of Taoism from China doesn't work, and read about it in my below thoughts, so i think that even the philosopher Confucius was not so efficient, since he was mainly
interested in how to construct a society, but he was lacking on
philosophy about the psychology of the individuals in a society, i mean
he was lacking on how for example to construct a strong individual self or spirit that is self-confident, so now i will be more precise about my philosophy, so as i am saying below that I think that it is from the power of the "mind" from where comes happiness, since the mind can be "free" and much more powerful by using philosophical mechanisms as my philosophical mechanisms below, but i have to be more precise so that you understand: What i mean is happiness comes from a kind of positive energy that gives hope and optimism that can give self-confidence, so
as you notice that there is many imperfections even in our modern world, so the efficient solution is not to become nihilistic or disorganized as such by looking at those many imperfections of our modern world, but you have to know how to be more and more organized and more and more civilized, so i think this kind of positive energy comes
greatly from the process of creativity, i mean that you you have to start to be creative and when you create something more interesting, you start to construct yourself and your ego, so it is a positive energy, but this positive energy is not sufficient, so then you have "incrementally" to say in your mind that since you can create something more interesting then you can create other interesting things too, so you can continu incrementally to create more and more interesting things by using the process of creativity, so i think that this gives much more positive energy and hope that permits you to become self-confident and optimistic, and not only that, but by going more and more incrementally in this kind of way, you have to "diversify" your requirements that permit you to be much more efficiently creative so that to lower the risks of failure, so this permits you to be much more strong, also you have to be a kind of hope in our the future of our humanity as i am explaining it in my below thoughts of my philosophy by talking about our exponential progress of our humanity etc., and of course it is my way of constructing my digital identity so that to be the good business, so
as you are noticing i am taking care a lot about my digital identity too so that to be the good business, since for example i have
followed the same kind of way by creating interesting things like
my open source projects, and look for example at one of my first
three open source projects that i call StringTree and Parallel compression Library and my Parallel varfiler so that to notice, since they also permit me to construct my digital identity, so here is the first projects that i have created:

Here my StringTree open source project:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/stringtree

And here my Parallel Compression open source project:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/parallel-compression-library

And here is my Parallel varfiler:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68/scalable-parallel-varfiler

And of course i have created many open source software projects,
and you can download them from here:

https://sites.google.com/site/scalable68

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="mystyle.css">
</head>

And the mystyle.css "CSS" file will contain the following so that
the HTML pages of the digital book appears correctly in different screen resolutions:

mystyle.css file is:

body
{
font-size: 1.3vw;
}

So as you are noticing i am using "font-size: 1.3vw" , since the
right HTML frame that contains the HTML pages of the book is 3/4 the size,and here is how i am constructing the HTML frames of the digital book so that to notice it:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>A frameset document</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET>
<FRAMESET cols="25%,*" frameborder="yes" framespacing=1>
<FRAME name="frame1" src="example01.html" scrolling="auto">
<FRAME name="frame2" src="poems1.html" scrolling="auto">
<Frame scrolling="auto">
</FRAMESET>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

The disadvantages to deforestation are an increased amount of carbon dioxide emissions and soil erosion as well as the destruction of forest habitat and the loss of biological diversity of both plants and animals.

Also 24 trees makes around one ton of paper, which is about around 200,000 sheets, and you may use a piece of paper one or two times, but it can be recycled five to seven times. Recycling one ton of paper saves 17 trees. If it's recycled seven times, it saves 117 trees, but i think that it is not enough and it is not enough to recycle (Read in the following article so that to notice it: https://www.sciencefocus.com/science/is-recycling-paper-bad-for-the-environment/), so it is why i think that reading digital or electronic books on computers is better than using paper books.

Queen bee

A queen bee is typically an adult, mated female (gyne) that lives in a colony or hive of honey bees. With fully developed reproductive organs, the queen is usually the mother of most, if not all, of the bees in the beehive.
Queens are developed from larvae selected by worker bees and specially fed in order to become sexually mature. There is normally only one adult, mated queen in a hive, in which case the bees will usually follow and fiercely protect her.

The term "queen bee" can be more generally applied to any dominant reproductive female in a colony of a eusocial bee species other than honey bees. However, as in the Brazilian stingless bee Schwarziana quadripunctata, a single nest may have multiple queens or even dwarf queens, ready to replace a dominant queen in a case of sudden death.

,as i am doing it, so that to be the good business, but i have to be frank since i am showing two things, the first thing is that i know how to be Love by inventing my poems of Love, since notice how i am also naturally or genetically made as my poems of Love, i mean that i look like my poems of Love, since i also mean that notice how my poems of Love with there kind of "sensibility" are much more precisely tuned or balanced in a more sophisticated manner, and i think that it needs a kind of "precision" of the "language" of the heart or of Love, since
writing poems of Love like i am doing is like talking the language of the heart or the language of Love, and that's really show my kind of sensibility and my kind of personality, so let us rapidly take a look at how i have quickly invented the following poem of Love:

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="mystyle.css">
</head>

And the mystyle.css "CSS" file will contain the following so that
the HTML pages of the digital book appears correctly in different screen resolutions:

mystyle.css file is:

body
{
font-size: 1.3vw;
}

So as you are noticing i am using "font-size: 1.3vw" , since the
right HTML frame that contains the HTML pages of the book is 3/4 the size,and here is how i am constructing the HTML frames of the digital book so that to notice it:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>A frameset document</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET>
<FRAMESET cols="25%,*" frameborder="yes" framespacing=1>
<FRAME name="frame1" src="example01.html" scrolling="auto">
<FRAME name="frame2" src="poems1.html" scrolling="auto">
<Frame scrolling="auto">
</FRAMESET>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

And i invite you to read the following articles:

More of my philosophy about individual digital identity and individual identity and more..

I think i am smart and i think i am a wise type of person, and let me
tell you that i am of the ones that value a lot digital identity,
since i want my digital identity to be a honest person about my strenghts and about my being a gentleman, and you have to understand that i look like my thoughts of my philosophy or my poems of Love, and i am also thinking them and writing them really fast since i look like
my thoughts that i am writing fast, also i have to be frank since i am also still in the process of inventing more and more thoughts of my philosophy , and i will soon organize all my thoughts of my philosophy as a beautiful digital book, also i will also soon do much more "business" with my kind of digital identity etc.

More of my philosophy about the philosophy of Letting Go and more..

I have just looked at the following video:

Why Letting Go Is True Wealth | Minimalist Philosophy for Simple Living

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHcGmiZqKXo&t=78s

I think i am smart, and i think i am a wise type of person,
so i have just talked about stoicism and i am explaining why
my philosophy is better than stoicism, and read my below thoughts
about it, and now there remain the philosophy of Letting Go in the above video that i think comes also from China, but i think it has also a weakness as the below philosophy of the black guy below, so the weakness of the philosophy of Letting Go, is also like the same weakness of Buddhism, and it is that we are not "isolated" from people, so since we
are living inside a society and interacting with people so then
we are comparing our status etc. so we can be hurt, so we become less confident or more confident so then the Letting Go philosophy
is not realistic or pragmatic, since its way of doing is not so efficient.

And now more of my philosophy about capitalism and about Marxism and communism and more..

I invite you to look at the following video:

Communist Professor Defends Stalin & Mao's Legacy - Heated Debate

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iov6jyfKtRc

So i have just looked at the above video and i will talk more about capitalism:

I think the mistake is to call our system capitalism, since i think our
system is not capitalism, since it requires also a kind of of Social Assistance and Social Solidarity and we have to have social programs that help the weakest members of the society or the poors of the society in a kind of way, and read below my philosophy about Class Struggle
so that to notice it, so i think that saying that USA is capitalism
is not correct thinking, since capitalism only as a system is a stupid
system, so this is why we can not compare as in the above video between
capitalism and communism, so we need to take into account all the
variables such as the kind of of Social Assistance and Social Solidarity
that we have inside for example the USA system so that to compare with communism, other than that i have also discussed more about the
advantages of capitalism, you can read them in the following
web link:

And if you want to know more about my views on capitalism,
read them here:

https://groups.google.com/g/alt.culture.morocco/c/cf3Wa4z8Xmc

Also you have to read carefully my philosophy about Class Struggle so
that to notice from where i am logically inferring that we require
a kind of of Social Assistance and Social Solidarity and that we have to have social programs that help the weakest members of the society or the poors of the society in a kind of way, here it is:

And today i will talk about Class struggle of Communism and Marxism,
so i will first ask a philosophical question of:

Is Class struggle "valid"

Blakeney Chapel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blakeney Chapel is a ruined building on the coast of North Norfolk, England. Despite its name, it was probably not a chapel, nor is it in the adjoining village of Blakeney, but rather in the parish of Cley next the Sea. The building stood on a raised mound or "eye" on the seaward end of the coastal marshes, less than 200 m (220 yd) from the sea and just to the north of the current channel of the River Glaven where it turns to run parallel to the shoreline. It consisted of two rectangular rooms of unequal size, and appears to be intact in a 1586 map, but is shown as ruins in later charts. Only the foundations and part of a wall still remain. Three archaeological investigations between 1998 and 2005 provided more detail of the construction, and showed two distinct periods of active use. Although it is described as a chapel on several maps, there is no documentary or archaeological evidence to suggest that it had any religious function. A small hearth, probably used for smelting iron, is the only evidence of a specific activity on the site.

Much of the structural material was long ago carried off for reuse in buildings in Cley and Blakeney. The surviving ruins are protected as a scheduled monument and Grade II listed building because of their historical importance, but there is no active management. The ever-present threat from the encroaching sea is likely to increase following a realignment of the Glaven's course through the marshes, and lead to the loss of the ruins.
