"Rick C. Hodgin" <rick.c.hodgin@gmail.com>: Sep 17 10:20AM -0700 When a person meets Jesus Christ, they are never the same. If you call yourself a Christian and are the same as you've always been, just maybe more religious or diligent in your pursuit of religion, you are not saved, and you've never met Him. You are just as lost as those who are out there sinning in the fullest extents. You must be born again: http://biblehub.com/kjv/john/3.htm 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Dramatized in The Gospel of John: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47OkuvT5JFo&t=20m1s Nicodemus was a Pharisee. The most knowledgeable / legalistic type of Jew, and a teacher of the Law of Moses. He came to Jesus knowing only the Law and the things of this world. Jesus tries to explain to Him the nature of His new Kingdom, which is of the spirit. Pay attention and you will see there is more to our lives than that which our eyes are able to see. Jesus is the gateway, as He takes away our sin so that we can be born again, alive spiritually, able to enter in to the new life which is eternal life. Jesus alone. No other way. Please take heed of these things and learn for yourself why that statement is true. Do not cast judgment upon the statement without investigation. Best regards, Rick C. Hodgin |

Well, after checking around it seems to me that it's likely I was wrong about 16-bit `wchar_t` being invalid for Unicode. So, punch me. But I don't know that, and it's certainly not my private opinion: I got it from others, that I thought were experts in the area: a "fact" that I was pretty sure of. And since we don't seem to have the requisite experts gathered in this group, and since Usenet cross-posting etc. is mostly a thing of the past, I've asked about this on Stack Overflow, at <url: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/39548465/is-16-bit-wchar-t-formally-valid-for-representing-full-unicode> Hopefully some convincing answers will be forthcoming there. Baseless insults... One thing I'm proud of is my business model -- making the on line service free. I wish I could say it was my idea, but a friend suggested it to me and at first I didn't like the idea, but after a few weeks it started to make sense to me. Many companies have 30 days of free trial now, but not that many have completely free services. My friend gave me a good idea and I have run with it. |
