I'd second Josuttis.

But if you value your sanity do NOT attempt to study the actual code.
Every implementation I have seen has efficiency at execution time first,
speed of compilation second, and readability not even on the list.

I'm pretty sure you can insert 500% more whitespace
in your code without any noticeable compile-time drop.

Believers who send their children to Sunday School think they are doing
the righteous thing but I have come to the realization that Sunday
School is child abuse plain and simple. Sunday School is the work of
Satan even if the only way to keep Christian numbers up is to get them
when they are young when they have minds like a sponge and will accept
any old bullshit an adult tells them.

For those being confused by these impersonation posts, please examine
the headers. I, the real Rick C. Hodgin, post from Google Groups or
Eternal September, from Indianapolis, IN. The impersonation posts
are from Giganews and originate in England, and he uses a slightly
different signature and posts under the name "Rick C. Hodgin
Enterprises" to differentiate his posts so they sneak in below
Giganews' threshold for what constitutes an impersonation post. To
Giganews, apparently using someone's name and email address is not
sufficient to be considered an impersonation post, or they simply do
not care about it.

Leigh Johnston (Mr. Flibble) has taken to impersonating me on these
posts in comp.lang.c++. User "fir" was tricked by him today. The
confusion he's creating is unfortunate, and I apologize for his
confusing intrusion into your life.

How about you apologize for your constant fucking theistic intrusions
into people's lives via this and other newsgroups? Even better than an
apology would be for you to simply STOP SPAMMING your theistic beliefs
and you will find that the parody posts will also magically stop. Fuckwit.

"Suppose it's all true, and you walk up to the pearly gates, and are
confronted by God," Bryne asked on his show The Meaning of Life. "What
will Stephen Fry say to him, her, or it?"
"I'd say, bone cancer in children? What's that about?" Fry replied.
"How dare you? How dare you create a world to which there is such misery
that is not our fault. It's not right, it's utterly, utterly evil."
"Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates
a world that is so full of injustice and pain. That's what I would say."

Leigh, I have no problem with you disagreeing with me. You are un-
willing to step up under your own name and speak, however. You choose
to hide behind an imitation of me, sowing confusion to all people in
the process.

You are doing harm to people in response to what you believe is me
doing harm to people. Do two wrongs make a right in your judgment?

> that is not our fault. It's not right, it's utterly, utterly evil."
> "Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates

Where do you think our sense of right and wrong came from? How would
we even possess the ability to recognize something as being right or
wrong in the first place? We were designed by God to know right and
wrong from within.

Have you ever read the Biblical account?

God made everything perfectly. He gave Adam the keys to this planet.
Adam then handed them to the great deceiver Satan, and therein entered
sin resulting in all of the bone cancer and death and hate you see at
all points. It was not God, it was sin. Jesus came to take away sin.
Jesus came in to restore that which was lost because of our own folly.

God leads us always rightly. Satan leads us always wrongly. Those who
do harm to others are following after Satan. And this world is not our
permanent home -- a message so few people seem to realize. God works on
eternal timescales, and we focus on our few decades here on this planet.
But God has not changed, and His eternal plans for us have not changed.
Only those who can hear His call will realize any of this, and be saved.
The rest will perish in their sin and love of sin.

What God has done is meet us at the place of the greatest gift He ever
gave us: our volition, our free will, our autonomy to make our own way
for real. And even though we made a wrong choice, and continue to make
wrong choices, yet does He love us and care for us. He gave us a way
out of this world, to reclaim us, to redeem us out of it. That's what
Jesus did at the cross. He went there to save us from this fallen world
and make all things new in eternity.

The end for those who are saved will be as God intended, and our brief
120 or fewer years here on this planet in pain and suffering will pale
by comparison to eternity.

People do not yet realize as they should, Leigh, which is why there
remains so much hate and death in this world. Jesus Christ IS *THE*
solution to all of our woes.

THAT IS WHY I TEACH ABOUT JESUS! He literally solved everything, yet
people still reject Him because the sinful, slick way of the world is
so much more appealing to them in their sin nature. But for all who
will hear the truth and come to Jesus and ask forgiveness for their
sin, the same will be saved. The rest will not.

Admit it, you're as old as I am. I was told a few years ago that I
should expect a HW divider.

It must be a very small and specialised chip that doesn't have a HW
multiplier. Heck, even an 8080 had one of those... What is it?

That line is part of my "signature" as opposed to the message text. It
tells you how to convert the "from" data in the header to my email
address for those rare occasions when a conversation should be taken
private.
