I am wondering, if CAlive is being neglected? I implore Rick to really
try to reach the beta or even alpha test by New Years 2019. If Rick
finds the time to include C11 threading, atomics and membars. Well, I
will definitely try to use it! Will help him test it anyway, but if it
has full blown C11, I will actually use it.

I really am looking forward to test driving CAlive. No joke.

What is the age of accountability? Kids younger than that age, get a
"free" pass into Heaven, right?

I posted already, that I've had something come up that's going to
take at least six months for me to complete. CAlive is pushed to
the back burner during that time.

In addition, CAlive won't run on Windows or Linux when it's first
released. It will run on my own OS, called ES/2, an OS/2 clone.

I don't know. I think it varies by individual. If we go by
Jewish tradition, a boy is considered a man at age 13.

We see how Jesus welcomed children:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+19%3A13-14&version=KJV

13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that
he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the
disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, [Allow] little children, and forbid them
not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

God is in no way mean, spiteful, vindictive, abusive or in any
way inappropriate. It is only sin He is condemning, not those
in repentance, not humbled souls who ask forgiveness, acknowl-
edging their sin. Jesus is all about love and forgiveness, top
to bottom.

However, when it comes to sin and rebellion in sin against Him
and those things He's established in this universe ... let me
ask you this: If you created an AI app that generated fractals,
and it decided it was going to generate triangles instead. What
would you do with that software you created to run on your hard-
ware? Would you allow it to go on being disobedient? Would you
try to fix it first, but if it ultimately was unwilling to be
fixed, what would you do with that app? Just live with it run-
ning there in rebellion? No. You'd delete it without a second
thought.

You work on the level of creating software apps. God works on
the level of creating universes and living souls, but even there
in His masterful creation He still has rules ... and He has much
patience in dealing with rule-breakers, but when all is said and
done, that errant AI generating triangles out of rebellion and
not fractals (i.e., that soul loving sin and not the truth), is
cut down and taken out. And for a living soul... it means a
little different thing than a software app ... unless you ask
the people of Tron.

Can't you port it to Windows or Linux? Not sure if I want to install a
brand new OS. Well, perhaps in a virtual machine.

Agreed. Imvho, God is the only one who knows the _true_ age of
accountability for any one _individual_.

13 is just too artificial. Arbitrary in the sense that it is set by man.

Humm... I did like the original Tron.

Of course I can. I eventually will, but the goal of the entire
LibSF Village Freedom Project I'm working on is a full hardware
and software stack devoted to the Lord. New OS, new apps, and
eventually running on my own new hardware.

I'm not an idle coder, Chris. I have a purpose, a plan, and a
goal, and I am moving steadily toward achieving all of it. My
current timeline takes me through 2025 ... but we'll see, many
many many things can happen between now and then.

Since New Years 2019 has come and gone, I assume you meant to write New
Years 2020.

At least...
